DR. K’S CIRCUIT RIDE VII: A TWILIGHT JOURNEY TO THE PELOTON CONFESSING FELLOWSHIP (MAY 28-JUNE 10, 2025)

“THE CIRCUIT RIDER.” Circuit Riders, also known as Horse Preachers, were Clergy assigned to travel around specific Geographic Territories (or “Circuits”) to Minister to settlers and organize congregations. Circuit Riders were traveling Evangelists and Teachers of the Scriptures whose name came to be synonymous with Methodist preachers who followed the teachings of John Wesley. Similar itinerant Preachers could be found in other denominations as well, particularly among Minority faith groups. SECOND WORD. On the very early morning I was to set out on the First Circuit Ride on Thursday June 10, 2021, I distinctly heard the Voice of the Spirit declare to me, in Spanish (not my native tongue by any measure):

• “¡SE ACABÓ!” – Translation: “It’s over!” DK’S TAKE. I was not sure of the Meaning of that Message four years ago, almost to the day (Ride #7 will finish on June 10, 2025). Now however, I am fully convinced that the Lord was heralding the End of His patience with America for a little more than 120 Years (1900-2020; Genesis 6:3).

THIRD WORD. “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes, For you will spread abroad to the right hand and to the left; and your offspring will possess the nations and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.” – ISAIAH 54:2-3, AMP

• “EXPANSION.” At the start of my written Commentaries in 2020 and a bit later the YouTube counterparts, I’d show between 30-70 hits on the Channel, with some 200 Subscribers and YouTube for the next two years. On Tuesday, February 15, 2020, I received this Word and Scripture with no immediate gains. Then after bringing on a young Bangladeshi around 6 months ago (since I could not find one American SEO willing to take on my messages), the PRESENT STATUS:  Average number of hits, 1.5K-6K, with occasional peaks of 10-13K; 6.44K Subscribers and growing.

THE 7^TH RIDE. Beginning on Wednesday May 28, I will set out for: A dogleg Northeast to Kansas then South through Oklahoma toward Texas in the first couple of days. Then straight East through the deep Southern states (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, to Florida. Following that I head Northeast again through the Carolinas to Virginia. After spending time there will travel North to Maryland, New York, and possibly New Hampshire. Then the last half points straight West through Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana-Illinois to Iowa. Layover there and head further West through Nebraska, Wyoming, Idaho up Northwest to Washington State. Last third of the Ride then straight South through Oregon and California where friends and families live. Finally, will head East again through Arizona, clip a piece of Texas again and straight North through New Mexico and Home, ideally, by Tuesday June 10.

VISITS. Here are the Basic Ground Rules for those who would like to meet for a light dinner along my route. I generally travel 400-500 miles per day and settle into a reasonably priced motel by 6 pm to be available for a chat over food by 7 pm or so.

• PROVISION. Thanks be to God and a few generous Patrons, I have already set aside at least 90% of the cost of this journey that will take about $5K. Any modest contribution for gas, food and lodging is always appreciated, but as I say, I am pretty much ready to go (see links below).

• PRAYER. Of vastly greater importance is my fervent request for sustained Prayer and Intercession for: Safe travels, strong health, wise choices, reliable operation of the automobile, and above all, Spirit-led encounters with folks along the way (with both members of our Fellowship and strangers I meet as part of the trip). – Psalm 91:1-11

• PERSONAL.
