DK’S CIRCUIT RIDE VII INSTRUCTIONS: MAY 25, 2025

“Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.

And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours] … Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].” PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7; JAMES 1:2-3, AMP

KEY TERM: “MAKE YOUR REQUESTS KNOWN TO GOD.” Gnórizó [γνωριζέσθω]: “To certify, declare, give to understand, do to wit, reveal.” NOTE: “The verb γνωρίζω is used in the New Testament to convey the act of making something known or revealing information. It often implies a communication of knowledge or a disclosure of previously hidden or unknown information. The Greek verb γνωρίζω appears in various contexts within the New Testament, emphasizing: ‘The Act of Revelation or making known.’ It is used both in the context of Divine Revelation and human communication. The term is often employed to describe the Disclosure of God’s Mysteries, the Proclamation of the Gospel, or the sharing of personal knowledge.”

QUOTATION. “ Believe in the great love of God, and cast yourselves upon it, sure that He will come down to your ignorance, and suit Himself to your needs, and will ‘Gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young’ [Isaiah 40:11].”  F.B. MEYER, The Secret of Guidance, 2010; edited

COMMENTARY. “‘Be careful for nothing.’An exact repetition of our Lord’s Command, ‘Take no thought’ (in Matthew 6:25Matthew 6:34). The prohibition is of that painful anxiety which is inevitable in all who feel themselves alone in mere self-dependence amidst the difficulties and dangers of life. It is possible to sink below this anxiety in mere levity and thoughtlessness; it is possible to rise above it by ‘casting our care on Him Who careth for us,’ and knowing that we are simply ‘fellow-workers with Him’ (1Peter 5:72Corinthians 6:1). Hence the Apostle passes on at once to speak of the trustfulness of prayer.

‘The peace of God’[That is] (like the ‘Righteousness of God,’ ‘the Life of God’), the Peace which God gives to every soul which rests on Him in prayer. It is Peace—the sense of Unity in the largest sense—the ‘Peace on earth’ proclaimed at our Lord’s Birth, left as His last legacy to His disciples, and pronounced at His First Coming Back to them from the grave (Luke 2:14John 14:27). Hence it includes Peace with God, Peace with men, Peace with self. It keeps—that is, watches over with the watchfulness that ‘neither slumbers nor sleeps’both ‘the hearts and minds’ (or, more properly, ‘the souls and the thoughts formed in them’), guarding our whole spiritual action, both in its source and its developments. It is ‘through Christ Jesus,’ for ‘He is our Peace’ (Ephesians 2:14), as ‘making all one,’ and ‘reconciling all to God.’” – CHARLES ELLICOTT, A New and Old Testament Commentary for English Readers, 1878-1897; edited

DK’S TAKE. So it was on this day that I began to hear and feel the Rumble of Opposition come to me prior to Circuit Ride VII. In the form of tech issues with the laptop, relationship strains out of nowhere, and an overall sense of dread working hard to overtake me.

But when I began to pray, plaintively yet fervently, for guidance and encouragement (or correction!), these TWO SCRIPTURES came to me in succession without about 24 hours. So do I take them along with me as Revelations from God, but also as Prophesy about what is coming.

So do I now pray with vastly greater reassurance: ‘God, make me a vessel; Make me an offering; Make me whatever you want me to be on this Journey, and all the days following.’
