SPECIAL PRÉCIS ON THE THRONE ROOM OF YAH: A CALL TO ‘COME UP HIGHER!’

SCRIPTURE. “After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a [war] trumpet speaking with me, said, ‘COME UP HERE, and I will show you what must take place after these things.’ At once I was in [special communication with] the Spirit; and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with One seated on the throne.

And He who sat there appeared like [the crystalline sparkle of] a jasper stone and [the fiery redness of] a sardius stone, and encircling the throne there was a rainbow that looked like [the color of an] emerald. twenty-four [other] thrones surrounded the throne; and seated on these thrones were twenty-four elders dressed in white clothing, with crowns of gold on their heads.” – REVELATION 4:1-4, AMP

In the New Testament it ranges from simple physical climbing to the climactic exaltation of Jesus Christ. COMMENTARY. “After the Lord Jesus had instructed the Apostle to write to the Churches the things that are, there was another Vision. ‘The Apostle saw a THRONE SET IN HEAVEN, an Emblem of the Universal Dominion of Jehovah.’

‘He saw a Glorious One upon the Throne,’ not described by human features, so as to be represented by a likeness or image, but only by ‘His Surpassing Brightness!’ Theseseem Emblems of the excellence of the Divine Nature, and of God’s awful Justice. ‘The Rainbow’ is a fit Emblem of that Covenant of Promise which God has made with Christ, as the Head of the Church, and with all His people in Him. The prevailing Colour was a pleasant green, showing the reviving and refreshing nature of the New Covenant.

‘Four-and-twenty seats around the Throne, were filled with four-and-twenty Elders, representing, probably, the whole Church of God.’ Their sitting denotes honour, rest, and satisfaction; their sitting about the Throne signifies nearness to God, the sight and enjoyment they have of Him. They were clothed in ‘White Raiment;’ the imputed righteousness of the saints and their holiness: They had on their heads ‘Crowns of Gold,’ signifying the glory they have with Him. Lightnings and Voices came from the Throne; the awful Declarations God makes to His Church, of His sovereign will and pleasure. ‘Seven Lamps of Fire’ were burning before the throne; the gifts, graces, and operations of the Spirit of God in the Churches of Christ, dispensed according to the will and pleasure of Him who sits upon the Throne.

‘In the Gospel Church, the Laver for purification is the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, which cleanses from all sin.’ In this all must be washed, to be admitted into the gracious Presence of God on Earth, and His Glorious Presence in Heaven. The Apostle saw ‘Four Living Creatures,’ between the Throne and the circle of the Elders, standing between God and the people. These seem to signify the True Ministers of the Gospel, because of their place between God and the people. DK’S TAKE. After again perusing the pertinent Christian literature and finding copious numbers of what I shall call, SOFT PALLIATIVES (‘Medical or Spiritual Care that temporarily relieves symptoms of an underlying condition without treating the real cause’), I defaulted to my own thoughts with the help of an AI Pastors online journal that was sound (ret. Aug. 1, 2025).

The phrase “Divine Call to Come Up Highe! in tTmes of Peril” signifies a Spiritual Invitation to ascend to a deeper level of Faith and Trust in God amidst challenging circumstances.’ It encourages believers to look beyond their present troubles and embrace God’s Higher Plans and Purposes.

We propose FOUR SPIRITUAL DISCIPINES for the successful navigation of this frankly difficult, ‘Narrow Path to Obedience’ of God in these Last Perilous Days. Not for the faint of heart but reserving stunning growth for those who will accept The Call.

1. SINCERE REPENTANCE. In this present Era of Antichrist with Deception and Corruption in the very air we breathe, it is vital to first go before the King and confess of all sustained unrighteousness – especially if you are a Pastor or Leader in the Church. This Call is about ‘Shifting One’s Focus’ from Earthly anxieties about Self and Gain to a Heavenly Perspective, seeing difficulties as opportunities for growth and refinement, much like Clay in a Potter’s Hands. Such humility leads to an Elevated View of all things, as if one were sitting higher, even next to the Father’s Throne.

• GOD’S PLAN. Similar to the First Step, this implies recognizing that God’s Thoughts and Ways are Higher than our own and that He is working all things for our good, even when the Path is either unclear or truly frightening. Here we are called to Trust God No Matter What, requiring both Risk and Courage that we do not possess on our own. Starts with a literal, ‘Laying down our life for Christ – come what may – unto life or unto death.’ The Personal Freedom and Boldness that follows is breathtaking.

• SPIRITUAL TRANSFORMATION.  This Call invites believers into a Deeper Relationship with God, characterized by an aggressive ‘Deep-Dive into the Scriptures every day!’ I have told you that this is what Transformed my entire life and Christian Worldview, once I committed to a Spirit-led devouring of the Word of God by reading, study, running the Commentaries and History of God’s Revelation to Mankind and virtually all subjects under the sun! But from a richly Doctrinal point of view. Wisdom and Discernment comes by this!

• BECOMING FEARLESS! It emphasizes actively ‘Choosing Faith over Fear’ every single day, in things both great and small. And ‘Speaking Scripture’ over anxious thoughts and difficult even severe circumstances, as Jesus did in the Wilderness when He confronted Satan. Thereby drawing Strength from God’s Promises of protection and provision. This is not ‘Confession Doctrine,’ but rather believing that the Word of Christ is so powerful that the Enemy must obey it when proclaimed out loud with authority. ‘His authority!’ As I have done this, I see the Enemy of the People of God begin to crumble before me – all Praise to the One who shares His Authority with the faithful.

THE PROMISES. “‘But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification],’ says the Lord … [For] Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.” – ISAIAH 54:17; LUKE 10:19, AMPC

Offer yourselves wholly to the Lord of Glory for these Last Days, as you have likely never done before. Then prepare for the True Christian Adventure that has eluded most of us who have for too long settled for a softer and profoundly less truthful Gospel and Life than what Jesus had in mind.
