REMEMBER MINNEAPOLIS! PRESIDENT TRUMP’S ICE ASSAULT ON THE CITY OF LAKES AS AMERICAN HARBINGER

FRIENDS: I recently received this deeply moving and eloquent letter from a young mother living through the blood and violence of the ICE Invasion of Minneapolis, Minnesota last January-February 2026, resulting in the brutal street assassinations of two citizens, Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

I have said and continue to warn that Minneapolis represents “The Canary in the Coal Mine” for the rest of the Nation. Though all seems quieter now with the President’s Secret Police remaining unfunded by Congress for the moment, I cannot believe for one moment that the danger is now past.

In that context, please prayerfully read her Letter from a City Under Siege, and prepare for the same dark thunder to visit your town or region soon. DK

THE LETTER. Thank you, Dr. Kelly, from the depths of my soul. Your Lazarus Saturday Message (March 28, 2026) touched me. Thank you for not forgetting about us in Minnesota. We are still reeling from Operation Metro Surge, and those of us still here will be recovering a long time (if permitted). Here in Minneapolis, the Christ-centered Resistance is exhausted. It’s too soon for me to be eloquent about everything we’ve been through, but I wanted to reach out with my gratitude even if it turns into word salad. And I thought I’d email since I don’t feel safe putting some of it in comments on YouTube – it’s not me or even my young children I’m concerned about (middle-class white family in suburbia), but rather the vulnerable people around us.

I grew up surrounded by Stories of Martyrdom and imaginative theology surrounding the Last Days. And so if I’m honest, it’s not that I never imagined that in my lifetime and in my country Christians would be Corrie ten Boom-ing immigrants in our homes, hiding them away in our basements and attics and building secret hiding spaces for them. And it broke my heart but it’s not that I never imagined something like the ICE Drills we had to do with my young children to practice what we would do if they broke into our home without a judicial warrant – where they should shelter-in-place, that they should remain silent, that they might hear Mom and Dad lie like the midwives in Egypt to protect the vulnerable who now live with us … but Dr. Kelly, what I never imagined before 2016 was that the very “Christians” who taught me all the Prophecies that we are seeing fulfilled today – that those very individuals and their institutions would be supporting the Lawless One who would bring all this about. That has been personally devastating to me on a visceral level.

Even understanding what l do from Scripture about the Great Tribulation, I admit I didn’t expect Minnesota to be hit so soon with such suffering.

The grotesque Apathy of many “Christians” has been truly stomach-turning. On the other hand, it’s been beautiful to labor alongside true Christ-followers to care for ‘the stranger.’ I’m incredibly proud of the individuals who stepped up and surprised me with their sacrifice, but there’s also a deep and bitter disappointment born of the silence and indifference of so many that I had hoped would snap out of the delusion but didn’t.

I don’t want to “trauma dump” on you too much here, but I wanted to let you know that it meant a lot to me personally that you spoke so passionately about Operation Metro Surge and said the names of Minnesotans Renee Good and Alex Pretti. I pray your call to action does not fall on deaf ears.

Please continue to pray for us – Protection for our immigrant neighbors, Stamina and Wisdom for those who are supporting them, and a massive Wake-up Call for those who have been checked-out until this point. We need all-hands-on-deck. This is not the Moment for the Church to be silent or passive, and I would love to see people come to know Jesus because of our witness in these final days.
