MY APOLOGY
My wife warned me that the candidacy of Kamala Harris would lead to trouble in our midst, and she was right. She also reproved me for being overly harsh in my sometimes too aggressive position taking on the matter. Specifically, there are two long-time, close and wise friends whom I have unnecessarily offended in the process of our disagreements over how to handle the upcoming Presidential Election of November 5, 2024.
Therefore: To Rozlyn Downer and William Wong, I offer my most heartfelt apology for not honoring you with the respect that you are clearly due. And any others who I may have needlessly distressed.
THREE OPTIONS. Seems our Fellowship has differed on how to vote this November: (1) No Vote; (2) Write-In; (3) Vote Blue. Though my personal preferences are the first two, I cannot fault anyone for Option 3 given the motive of heart to Stop the Beast.
To add force to the need for me to reassess all this is my wife’s very real possibility of voting for Harris! She is pretty much the godliest human being I have ever known, and it may have been that last brick from the Lord to daze me into a bit more grace from me to you all.
THE PROMISE. “And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” – ROMANS 8:28, AMP
War, whether actual or spiritual, hardens a man. I am so very sorry for my excesses, beloved, and will strive to improve in the days ahead to strike the balance between Grit and Graciousness. DK
