SPECIAL PRÉCIS ON ‘NO OTHER DOCTRINE!’ MORE FINAL WARNINGS TO THE AMERICAN PULPITS FROM AN ANGRY GOD

SCRIPTURE. “As I urged you when I was on my way to Macedonia, stay on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain individuals not to teach any different doctrines, nor to pay attention to legends (fables, myths) and endless genealogies, which give rise to useless speculation and meaningless arguments rather than advancing God’s program of instruction which is grounded in faith [and requires surrendering the entire self to God in absolute trust and confidence].” – 1 TIMOTHY 1:3-4, AMP

KEY TERM: “DIFFERENT DOCTRINES.” Heterodidaskaleó’ [τεροδιδασκαλεν]: “To instruct differently, teach other doctrine different from one’s own truth; that which is false.” NOTE: “The term is used in the context of teaching doctrines that are contrary to the Apostolic Teachings and the core tenets of the Christian Faith. It is often associated with False Teaching or Heresy.”

QUOTATION. “‘To turn away from the lifeless preachers and publishers of the day—may involve a Real Cross.’ Your motives will be misconstrued, your words perverted, and your actions misinterpreted. The sharp arrows of false report will be directed against you. You will be called proud and self-righteous, because you refuse to fellowship empty professors. You will be termed censorious and bitter—if you condemn in plain speech—the subtle delusions of Satan. You will be dubbed narrow-minded and uncharitable, because you refuse to join in singing the praises of the ‘great’ and ‘popular’ men of the day. More and more, you will be made to painfully realize—that the Path which leads unto Eternal Life is ‘narrow’ and that FEW there are who find it! May the Lord be pleased to grant unto each of us—the hearing ear and obedient heart! ‘Take heed what you hear and read!’”  ARTHUR W. PINK, English theologian, Author of The Sovereignty of God, 1918; edited

COMMENTARY. “Many causes, movements, and leaders today demand allegiance. Some of them would even have us turn from Christ to follow them or their way of thinking about God and the Bible. If the leaders seem to know the Bible, their influence can be dangerously subtle. These are modern-day false teachers. How can you recognize false teachers? (1) They teach ideas contrary to the truth found in Scripture (vv. 1-3, 6-7, 4:1-5). (2) They promote trivial and divisive disputes instead of helping people come to Jesus (v. 1:4). (3) They aren’t concerned with having God’s presence in their lives but instead spend their time on ‘idle talk’ (v. 1:6). (4) Their motivation is to make a name for themselves or their platforms (v. 1:7). (5) They ask you to submit to their authority instead of submitting to God’s Authority. ‘To protect yourself from the deception of False Teachers, learn  [only]what the Bible teaches and remain steadfast in your faith in Christ alone!’” – RONALD A. BEERS, General Editor, Life Application Bible, 2022, p. 2760; edited

DK’S TAKE. The piercing relevance to these teachings is dramatically obvious to the general reader and Remnant Christian – but not to the insidiously rebellious contingent of the White American Church community known as MAGA Christian Nationalism. This group of Spiritual Renegades constitute the vast majority of what the Great Apostle calls, “The Falling Away” from the Faith.

Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed]who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.” – 2 THESSALONIANS 2:3-4, AMP

From these historically powerful words we can derive TWO LESSONS for the contemporary American Church that if honored, can save lives.

  1. APOSTASY. For the Prophetic Calendar of the Last Days to become fully engaged, the great majority of Professing Christians will substantially “Rebel” from the Biblical Canon and true Gospel of Jesus Christ for false teachings and false idols more in keeping with their own earthy desires of material gain and political power.
  • ANTI-CHRIST. For those Christians who remain faithful to Christ and continue to follow only the Bible and Holy Spirit, the Man of Sin, the Lawless One, “The Son of Destruction,” that is theAntichrist, will be Revealed to them. Significantly, but not to the Apostates! No, because they did not love the truth of God, He shall send them a “Spirit of Delusion” that will condemn them to Hellfire – as their own Preferences and Choices drove them to that ill-fated, catastrophic End (vv. 11-12).

THE MAGA CHURCH. To finish this intentionally severe rebuke to the American Pulpits, I quote the searing indictment of British churchman JOSHUA T. SEARLE, Tutor in Theology and Public Thought, and Director of Postgraduate Studies at Spurgeon’s College at the University of Oxford. This as what I consider as prima facie evidence that Trump Church members are both Heretics on the way toward full Apostasy – for which there is no longer opportunity for Repentance.

“Throughout his term in office, Trump has used Christianity as a convenient tool. For Trump, Christianity has served as a Hammer to drive an even deeper wedge into American society. Whether it was inflammatory rhetoric about Mexicans as ‘murderers and rapists’ or telling non-White American-born members of Congress to ‘go back to their countries’ or describing Far-Right Extremists and anti-Semites in Charlottesville as ‘fine people,’ Donald Trump’s goal has been clear all along: To Divide the country into warring factions and to leverage this Factionalism in order to intensify the sense of grievance and to win popular support.

Trump’s attempts to sow discord and conflict have found resonance among Two Groups whose adamantine support for Trump has remained rock solid throughout all the scandals, lies and corruption of his term in office. These two groups are: (1) White Supremacists; and (2) Evangelical Christians. In the Trumpist Movement, these two groups coalesce into a Political Movement that is fuelled by dangerous falsehoods, blind faith, post-truth disdain for scientific expertise and objective reality, violent hostility towards enemies (imaginary and real), and conspiratorial thinking.

‘The pernicious fusion of Pseudo-Christian piety and Far-Right extremist ideology has been plain for all to see since Trump was first propelled into the White House on a wave of support from White Evangelicals’ – over 80 per cent of whom voted for him in 2016 and 75 per cent in 2020. On 6 January, during the storming of the Capitol Building, we witnessed what happens when delusion, ignorance and violence collide. During this infamous raid, we saw the appalling spectacle of White Supremacist Nationalists marching literally shoulder-to-shoulder with Evangelical Christians through the Citadel of American Democracy.” – “Donald Trump and the Heresy of White Evangelical Christianity,” Baptist Times, Jan. 21, 2021; edited

AMERICAN PASTORS: It is not I who call you to account for either Sponsoring or remaining Silent about this Treachery against The Christ – and more importantly, your flocks – but God Himself!’ I have said what I have said, by His Instruction. Now then, sir:

What say YOU to your King this Day, Teacher? Selah.
