NOTES ON PRAYING FOR THE ANTICHRIST: CHRISTIAN SUPPORT VS. CHRISTIAN OPPOSITION – (WITH VIDEO)

THEOLOGY

SCRIPTURE. “First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

This [kind of praying] is good and acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wishes all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge and recognition of the [divine] truth.” – 1 TIMOTHY 2:1-4, AMP

KEY TERM: “SAVED.” ‘Sózó’ [σωθῆναι]: “To become safe, delivered or protected; healed, preserved, do well, be made whole.” NOTE: “Strong’s Greek 4982 saturates the New Testament with the theme of ‘Divine Deliverance.’ From urgent cries on Galilee’s storm-tossed waters (Matthew 8:25) to the cosmic promise that ‘All Israel will be saved’ (Romans 11:26), the verb gathers every facet of God’s Rescuing Purpose into one word. Of its 108 occurrences, none contradicts another; together they unfold one seamless testimony to the Lord who ‘Came to seek and to save the lost”’ (Luke 19:10).”

COMMENTARY. “‘The disciples of Christ must be praying people; all, without distinction of nation, sect, rank, or party.’ Our duty as Christians, is summed up in two words; ‘Godliness,’ that is, the right worshipping of God; and ‘Honesty,’ that is, good conduct toward all men. These must go together: we are not truly honest, if we are not godly, and do not render to God his due; and we are not truly godly, if not honest. What is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, we should abound in.

‘There is one Mediator, and that Mediator gave Himself a ransom for all.’ And this appointment has been made for the benefit of the Jews and the Gentiles of every nation; that all who are willing may come in this way, to the Mercy-Seat of a pardoning God, to seek reconciliation with Him. Sin had made a quarrel between us and God; Jesus Christ is the Mediator Who makes peace. He is a Ransom that was to be known in due time. In the Old Testament times, his sufferings, and the glory that should follow, were spoken of as things to be revealed in the last times.

II. TEACHING

THESIS. I have argued and built a theological case for the past several years now that DONALD TRUMP IS THE ANTICHRIST. As such, all of what I write here presupposes that Reality, at least for the sake of Biblical argument. That will help you to understand where the rest of this argument will take us today.

PRAYER FOR TRUMP? Based on data recently published by the Pew Research Center (April 28, 2025; edited), we must first understand the widespread support for Donald Trump in 2025. This, astonishingly, despite what we are all witnessing as the President’s construction of a Secret Police and nothing short of a Nazi-like Simulacrum of an American Fourth Reich right in front of us.

CONTEXT. Most polling data following the Presidential Election of 2024 showed: 83-88% of White Evangelicals (including Pentecostals and Charismatics) voted for Trump. That statistic has remained essentially unchanged since 2020.

APPROVAL. 72% approve of the way Trump is currently handling his job as president.

ETHICS. 69% rate the ethics of top Trump administration officials as excellent or good.

TRUST. 57% say they trust what Trump says more than what previous presidents said.

DIVERSITY. Three-quarters (75%) of White evangelicals approve of Trump’s actions to end diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies in the Federal Government.

EO’S. When thinking about Trump’s use of executive orders, majorities of Black Protestants (70%) and religiously Unaffiliated Adults (62%) say Trump is doing too much.

THE GERMAN CHURCH. To give us further insight into the dynamics of what is occurring in America today, I turn to an excellent essay by EDITORS from the United States Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC. Writing for the Encyclopedia Britannica, their piece is titled: “The German Churches and the Nazi State” (ret. Aug. 18, 2025; edited).

BACKGROUND. “The population of Germany in 1933 was around 60 million. Almost all Germans were Christian, belonging either to the Roman Catholic (ca. 20 million members) or the Protestant (ca. 40 million members) churches. The Jewish community in Germany in 1933 was less than 1% of the total population of the country.”

RESPONSE. “How did Christians and their churches in Germany respond to the Nazi regime and its laws, particularly to the persecution of the Jews? The racialized anti-Jewish Nazi ideology converged with Antisemitism that was historically widespread throughout Europe at the time and had deep roots in Christian history. ‘For all too many Christians, traditional interpretations of religious scriptures seemed to support these prejudices.”’

REICH CHURCH. “Historically the German Evangelical Church viewed itself as one of the pillars of German culture and society, with a theologically grounded tradition of Loyalty to the State. During the 1920s, a Movement emerged within the German Evangelical Church called the ‘Deutsche Christen,’ or ‘German Christians.’ ‘The German Christians embraced many of the Nationalistic and racial aspects of Nazi ideology.’ Once the Nazis came to power, this group sought the creation of a ‘National Reich Church’ and supported a ‘Nazified’ version of Christianity.”

CONFESSING CHURCH. “‘The “Bekennende Kirche”—the “Confessing Church”— emerged in opposition to the “German Christians.”’ Its founding document, the BARMEN CONFESSION of Faith, declared that the Church’s allegiance was to God and Scripture, not a worldly ‘Führer.’ Both the Confessing Church and the German Christians remained part of the German Evangelical Church, and the result was a ‘Kirchenkampf,’ or ‘Church Struggle’ within German Protestantism—an ongoing debate and struggle for control between those who sought a ‘Nazified’ Church, those who ‘Opposed’ it, and the so-called ‘Neutral’ Church Leaders whose priority was the avoidance both of church schism and any kind of conflict with the Nazi State.”

BONHOEFFER. “The most famous members of the Confessing Church were the theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, executed for his role in the conspiracy to overthrow the regime, and Pastor Martin Niemöller, who spent seven years in concentration camps for his criticisms of Hitler. Yet these clergymen were not typical of the Confessing Church; despite their examples, the Protestant Kirchenkampf was mostly an internal Church matter, not a fight against National Socialism. Even in the Confessing Church, most Church leaders were primarily concerned with blocking State and ideological interference in Church affairs. ‘Yet there were certainly members of the clergy and laity who opposed and Resisted the regime, including some who aided and hid Jews.’”

SUMMARY. “The General Tactic by the Leadership of both Protestant and Catholic churches in Germany was ‘Caution’ with respect to protest and compromise with the Nazi State leadership where possible. There was Criticism within both churches of Nazi racialized ideology and notions of ‘Aryanism,’ and movements emerged in both churches to defend Church members who were considered ‘non-Aryan’ under Nazi racial laws (e.g., Jews who had converted). ‘Yet throughout this period there was virtually no public opposition to Antisemitism or any readiness by Church Leaders to publicly oppose the Regime on the issues of Antisemitism and State-sanctioned violence against the Jews.’ There were individual Catholics and Protestants who spoke out on behalf of Jews, and small groups within both churches that became involved in rescue and resistance activities (for example, the White Rose andHerman Maas).”

III. CHRISTIAN ALLEGIANCE

“And God spoke all these words, saying: ‘I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.’” – EXODUS 20:1-6, NKJV

DK’S TAKE. These powerful theological and historical lessons are not to be ignored, beloved. They speak directly to American Christians and raise the very same Fundamental Moral Questions that the German Christians faced.

So far, it is tragically clear that the American Church has not learned her lessons but is inarguably following step by step the ‘Reich Church’ of nearly a century ago.

The Epicenter of our own ‘American Kirchenkampf’ is, of course, not Adolf Hitler but DONALD TRUMP, 45^TH and 47 President of the United States of America. THE QUESTION hanging in the darkening air is:

Biblically speaking: How Should the Christian Respond to Donald Trump?

Following a thorough review of the research literature, I once again settled upon a cogent AI REVIEW (ret. Aug. 14, 2025; edited) that offers accurate Theological Summary of the issues to be faced.

THE CASE FOR TRUMP CHURCH. This will provide evidence for the vast majority of White American Christians who, like their White predecessors in the German Reich Church choose to support for, pray for and follow the policies of President Donald Trump. Bear in mind, who I consistently regard as the BIBLICAL ANTICHRIST.

IDENTITY. The term “Antichrist” can refer to individuals who oppose Christ (1 John 2:18) or as in the present case, a specific End-Times Man who will deceive many.

SALVATION & REPENTANCE. The Bible teaches that Salvation is available to all who believe in Jesus Christ and repent of their sins. This offer of Salvation extends to anyone, including someone who might be identified as an Antichrist, as long as they are still alive and have not irrevocably rejected God’s grace.

MARK OF THE BEAST. Some interpretations of Revelation 13 suggestthat the Mark of the Beast is a Symbol of Allegiance to the Antichrist and that those who receive it will be eternally condemned. This is a point of contention among different Christian denominations and interpretations.

ANTICHRIST’S DEFEAT. According to Biblical Prophecy, the Antichrist will ultimately be defeated by Jesus Christ. Some interpretations say he will be cast into the Lake of Fire, while others focus on his Spiritual (and/or Political) Defeat.

THE CHOICE. Ultimately, the Decision to accept or reject God’s offer of Salvation rests with the individual. Even someone identified as the Antichrist has the potential to turn to God and be saved, provided they do not harden their heart to His grace.

THE CASE FOR THE CONFESSING CHURCH. In conservative Christian theology, particularly in the context of Political Eschatology (“The Fusion of theology with cultural and geopolitical analysis,” Kelly & Jason, The Sixth Seal II, 2024, p. 17), the ‘Antichrist is generally considered Beyond Salvation’ due to several key reasons.

UTTER REJECTION OF CHRIST. The term “Antichrist” itself implies opposition to and rejection of Jesus Christ. He will come as a Substitute or Counterfeit Christ, opposing and exalting himself above all that is called God. He is predicted to sit in the Temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

ASSOCIATION WITH SATAN. The Antichrist’s arrival is associated with the working of Satan, accompanied by power, signs, and lying wonders. He will deceive many, even claiming to be the true Messiah and gaining worldwide control. ‘Those who follow him will be Eternally Condemned for rejecting the truth and finding pleasure in unrighteousness.’

DOOMED TO DESTRUCTION. Paul refers to the Antichrist as the “Man of Lawlessness” and “Son of Perdition” (Destruction), indicating his Final Destiny. ‘He will be destroyed by the Lord Jesus at His Second Coming. He and the False Prophet will be cast into the Lake of Fire.’ NOTE: I propose that only the followers of Antichrist join Satan, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet in Eternal Punishment; the rest of the Unredeemed are annihilated at entrance to the Eternal Fire (Conditional View). By contrast, the Church teaches that all the Unsaved burn in Hellfire forever (Traditional View). See C. Kelly, The Sixth Seal II, 2024, pp. 86-89.

DENIES CHRIST. John states that the Antichrist denies the Father and the Son, a fundamental denial of the Core of Christian Belief. He also denies that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh (or continues to come in the flesh), which can be interpreted as denying Christ’s humanity or His indwelling presence in believers.

SUMMARY. In essence, the Antichrist’s complete and intentional Rebellion against God, his embodiment of lawlessness, and his active role in deceiving and persecuting believers are believed to place him beyond the possibility of Redemption within the framework of Christian Eschatology.

IV. LAST THOUGHTS

Beloved, during just this past month or so I have sensed a great deal of urgency to present Donald Trump as Antichrist in increasingly bold terms. The Reason: The Times and the Events are transpiring now, again, at breakneck pace as we see Lawless Brutality being rolled out every day now across the entire Nation.

My Point: You must decide this once and for all if you are going to receive the Divine Instruction for dealing with this unprecedented Last Crisis of Mankind.

HOW SHOULD WE THEN LIVE? Borrowing again that Classic Question from Dr. Francis Schaeffer’s landmark 1976 book, let me finish today with a practical yet doctrinally sound PREPARATIONS to undertake in the days ahead.

As you know, I often turn to DR. JOHN PIPER whose counsel is mostly solid, as is the case here. His essay is titled, “How Do We Prepare for the Second Coming?” (Desiring God, Oct. 1, 2021; edited). I will use his ideas and modify them somewhat to fit my own Thesis and approach to this vital matter. Scriptures rendered in the New King James Version.

CHRONOLOGY. ‘The Coming of Jesus Christ is immediately preceded by the Appearance of the Antichrist.’ SCRIPTURE: “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes FIRST, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” – 2 THESSALONIANS 2:3-4

WATCHFULNESS. ‘You cannot Watch for His Return unless you aggressively Study the Scriptures on your own.’ SCRIPTURE: “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth … Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.” – 2 TIMOTHY 2:15; MATTHEW 24:42-43

PURIFICATION. ‘Diligently, consistently and consciously Pursue being like Jesus Christ at every opportunity.’ SCRIPTURE: “Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” – 1 JOHN 3:2-3

SUFFERING. ‘Develop your readiness for the necessity of suffering before Jesus comes.’ SCRIPTURE: “He [Antichrist] shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time … We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.” – DANIEL 7:25; ACTS 14:22

READINESS. ‘We must work toward excellence in our respective callings as with the actions of a faithful servant of the King of the Universe.’ SCRIPTURE: “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’

Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. CODA. Beloved, because of the vast majority of the American Church’s worshipful attachment to the Biblical Antichrist, President Donald John Trump, she is not ready for His Return. Thus, they are self-condemned to suffer Eternal Hellfire, according to the Law, the Prophets, the Apostles, and the Messiah Himself.

^“But as for the cowards and unbelieving and abominable [who are devoid of character and personal integrity and practice or tolerate immorality], and murderers, and sorcerers [with intoxicating drugs], and idolaters and occultists [who practice and teach false religions], and all the liars [who knowingly deceive and twist truth], their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” – REVELATION 21:8, AMP

To the very best of my ability as a Teacher of the Law for over 40 years, I bear solemn witness to you and the very Host of Heaven that these words are true and invincible. They shall, therefore, determine the Life or Death of all who read them.

Therefore, pay them the serious heed they deserve, that you might not be Consumed by them, but rather Rescued by them. Both in this life, beloved, and then in the Iridescent Life soon to come!
