NOTES ON SURVIVING AND SUCCEEDING IN LAST DAYS AMERICA: CAPTAIN SULLY, LINDA FORD THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING SOBER Part I

PART I: “UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES”

“But the end and culmination of all things has now come near; keep sound minded and self-restrained and alert therefore for [the practice of] prayer…Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour.” – 1 PETER 4:7, 5:8; AMP

QUOTES

“The most fortunate of us, in our journey through life, frequently meet with calamities and misfortunes which may greatly afflict us; and, to fortify our minds against the attacks of these calamities and misfortunes should be one of the principal studies and endeavors of our lives. The only method of doing this is to assume a perfect resignation to the Divine Will.” – THOMAS JEFFERSON, “Letter to John Page,”15 July 1763; published in ‘The Works of Thomas Jefferson,’ 1905; edited

“The presence of evil in his life provokes him into either overcoming it or yielding to it. If the first, it has led him to work for his own improvement; if the second it has led him to acknowledge his own weakness. Sooner or later, the unpleasant consequences of such weakness will lead him to grapple with it and develop his power of will…Immediately and directly, it may either strengthen him or weaken him.” – PAUL BRUNTON (Raphael Hearst), ‘The Spiritual Crisis of Man,’ 1983; edited

“People define themselves in terms of ancestry, religion, language, history, values, customs, and institutions. They identify with cultural groups: tribes, ethnic groups, religious communities, nations, and, at the broadest level, civilizations. People use politics not just to advance their interests but also to define their identity. We know who we are only when we know who we are not and often only when we know whom we are against.” – SAMUEL P. HUNTINGTON, ‘The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order,’ 1996; edited

  1. FIRST THOUGHTS

I think I have always been caught up in rather Large Things. THREE EVENTS tell me so.

  • First, when I was but a wee lad of, I don’t know, four or five or so, someone named “Baba” gave me a tiny King James Bible, with an inscription in it from her. Many years later as an adult, I dredged up that Old Book and found I had underlined a passage in the it: From the Book of Revelation.
  • Second was on a drive-in theater date with some named Sharyn around 1976. The Movie: ‘The Omen,’ starring Gregory Peck and Lee Remick. So it happened that I began to wax somewhat fascinated in trying to explain the plot to my date with virtually zero detailed knowledge. But somehow, for some reason, I was fixed on that movie as no other in my then younger days, pre-Christian memory.
  • Then in 1982, my beloved pastor who led me to Christ in 1979, Eugene Kraft, asked me to each a Sunday School class for newbies, which I started around 1981. Then in 1982 sensing something ‘different’ about my teaching, asked me to teach a class on The Book of Revelation in 1982. We started with six people, and by the time I finished the Teaching in 1983, the attendance peaked at around 220 attendees. God alone gets the glory for that.

THE POINT. My Life Trajectory, as with yours, has been guided by that Divine Hand ever before I came to know Him. And all that gives you some context about why I am so compelled to write of ‘Big Things.’ As with the biggest of all – LAST THINGS.

I truly believe this is what I am supposed to be doing, and why I am loving this Tour of Duty more than any other in my entire life. Hopefully that tells you a bit more about how, and why, God drew me here, to THIS time and place. Right Now.

  1. THE END OF ALL THINGS

That Phrase, “The End of All Things,” taken from our Scripture for this Three-Part Series is both powerful and prescriptive. So, let’s take a closer look at what it actually means, ‘For such a time is this.’

  • THE END. Taken from the Greek term, ‘Telos’ [τέλος]: “The limit, or principal aim either at which a person or thing ceases to be what he or it was up to at that point, or at which previous activities ceased (2 Corinthians 3:13; 1 Peter 4:7); i.e., that goal that has been reached; completion or conclusion at which something arrives; a consummation; a termination; an extinction of something as with the ripening of a seed.”
  • THE ESCHATON. This important Greek term, used 54 times in the New Testament, is derived from ‘Eschatos’ [ἔσχατος]: “Extreme last; properly, last, final (the furthest, extreme-end);  the root of ‘Eschatology’ is ‘the study of last things.’ This includes future Bible prophecy, the end-times, and life after death (‘the After-life’); the outermost or latter; with reference to time, generally that which concludes anything; denotes the time when the development of God’s Plan of Salvation shall come to a close, the time of the final and decisive Judgment; i.e., ‘the Last Day’ and the Time of Christ’s Second Coming.”

THE DEBATE. Theologians, pastors, teachers and Bible scholars of all stripes have argued about the Best Hermeneutic’ (Interpretative System) for understanding the Biblical Text concerning End Times for millennia. So let me at least lay out My Approach to all this Chaos enveloping the planet, as briefly as I can, before moving forward.

But first, this as Theological Signature for our quest.

THE PRIMARY SKILL. “Of the tribe of Issachar, [were] men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do.” – 1 CHRONICLES 12:32, AMPC

  • UNDERSTOOD THE TIMES. From the Hebrew, ‘Binah’ [בִּינָה], meaning: “Insight, prudence, intelligence; wisdom; discernment of the truth; as with Daniel, who had a grasp of any subject the king desired to understand; we are not to lean on our own understanding [but that of the Lord’s].”
  • KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT TO DO. From the term, ‘Yada’ [יָדַע], translated thus: “To perceive, understand, to acquire knowledge; to discern (intimately, in detail); ability to distinguish [between right and wrong, true and false, good and evil]; to predict; describes a person’s relationship to the true God, as contrasted with the pagans who do not know God.”

ROOT OF SUCCESS. Therefore the Primary Ability for the follower of God to be able to effectively navigate these Culture Storms is first and foremost – To ‘Understand the Times,’ including: (1) Origins – Factors contributing to their occurrence; (2) Core Nature – Essential characteristics and impacts; and (3) Confrontation – How to best manage and overcome them.

Which is roughly The Outline for these Three Teachings.

In all of this, we must remember each step of the way that the Current Spiritual and Cultural Struggle is essentially, A BATTLE OF IDEAS – and which one shall constitute ‘The Majority View’ the people select to deal with that Battle.

  1. IT’S ALL ABOUT WORLDVIEW

One of my most compelling discoveries as a Christian thinker (if I can use that term) was that of “Worldview,” that Regent University’s DR. MICHAEL D. PALMER describes in this rather practical way, which I appreciate.

DEFINITION. “Whether we are aware of it or not, our core beliefs and practices form a point of view or perspective that is distinctively ours. This distinctive perspective constitutes our ‘Worldview;’ our various core beliefs and practices are the ‘Elements’ of that Worldview. A Worldview, then, is a set of Beliefs and Practices that shape a person’s approach to the most important issues in life.” – ‘Elements of a Christian Worldview,’ 1998, p. 24; edited

The Power of Worldview to literally Shape the life of an Individual or Nation cannot be stated strongly enough. King Solomon helps me to make this Key Point.

PROVERBS 23:7a. “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he is,” in all that he does to confront, understand and act back toward the Social Reality of that hour. In some ways, then indeed – Worldview is pretty much everything, as it ‘Drives’ our overall Grasp of the Times, and our Responses to them.

FOUR WORLDVIEWS IN CONFLICT. Over the centuries of my teaching about Worldview, I have devised a Simple Taxonomy of Four Worldview Systems, aggressively vying for Dominance in our world. – cf. Kelly, “The Importance of a Christian Worldview,” in ‘The Sixth Seal: A Pre-Wrath Commentary on the End of History As We Know It,’ 2017, pp. 45-49

  1. JUDEO-CHRISTIAN THEISM. This, the classic ‘Christian Worldview, begins with the firm Belief in God as the infinite and personal (triune), transcendent and immanent, omniscient, sovereign and Ultimate Good. Human beings can come to ‘know’ this God through a core belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Godhead.
  1. CLASSICAL DEISM. Here we have a belief system that is one step removed (departed from) Theism, in which adherents view God not so much as a Person, but as an impersonal ‘First Cause.’ This Causal Agent created the Universe, then left it to run according to immutable Laws and Principles. Ethics in such a system are based on what the Universe reveals as ‘Normal.’
  1. ATHEISTIC NATURALISM. What I believe is currently the Dominant Worldview System in the Nation, despite counterclaims by individuals, is a de facto belief in the Natural Order (or Disorder), defined through the material reality in which we all live; i.e., what you see and experience is all you get. In effect, we are all made up of what Dr. Carl Sagan used to call, ‘Star Stuff,’ and we behave as a complex biological machine seeking Self Satisfaction, that can be governed by various humanistic techniques and formulae.
  1. PAGAN MYSTICISM. Finally, as humans become increasingly dissatisfied with the antiseptic approach of Naturalism, they turn to another ‘Spiritual’ Worldview, but not Christianity. Here we have a potpourri of largely Eastern meditational ideas with ‘Self’ as the central focus. The praxis involves cycling through various Stages of Consciousness, paradoxically, reaching Suspended Consciousness, until one arrives at some Mystical ‘Oneness’ with the Cosmos, at which point you become like God, or in some deeper sense, a God.

THE POSTMODERN ERA. Of the four, I again submit that the Dominant View of American society is very likely, Postmodern Naturalism – Worldview III. I further submit that Christian Evangelicals default to this position by their largely self-serving actions, as in Politics.

Here is how Encyclopedia Britannica defines it.

“A late 20th-century movement characterized by broad skepticism, subjectivism, or relativism; a general suspicion of reason; and an acute sensitivity to the role of Ideology in asserting and maintaining political and economic power.” – BRIAN DUIGNAN, Senior Editor, June 10, 2009; edited

THE CHURCH. As I have argued vigorously, I see the American Church behaving as those driven primarily by “political and economic power,” having Replaced the Christian Canon, or ‘Worldview I,’ for the Naked Pragmatism and Self-Aggrandizement of Worldview III.

To the very Destruction of the Church Witness and National Stability.

  1. PRÉCIS ON HERMENEUTICS

Now just one more rather tedious classroom exercise: A brief delineation of the Four Classic Interpretive Systems Christians select in their Study of Eschatology, or ‘Last Things.’ Again, adapted from my book, ‘The Sixth Seal’ (2017, pp. 26-32).

  • PRETERISM. This view argues that the events in all apocalyptic literature in the Bible already took place in the natural historical timeline, largely in the First Century. This relegates the entirety of prophetic or predictive Scripture symbolic or allegorical, stripping all of it of any literal truth. I reject this view on its unbiblical face based on the Church fathers’ approach, which was, until the time of Constantine and Augustine, overwhelmingly literal.
  • HISTORICISM. Similar to Preterism, this symbolic view proposes that the Book of Revelation covers the entire, vast sweep of human history, from the First Century to the Second Coming of Christ and the End of the Age. Popular among the Protestant Reformers, this approach presumed the Roman Church as the enemy of Christ and became for the longest time, the Protestant Theology of the Last Days. Its attempt to coordinate historical events with the various visions of Revelation proved both arbitrary, and inadequate to proper interpretation.
  • IDEALISM. Here we have the school of thought, symbolic again, that proposes that the Cosmic Conflict between God’s good and Satan’s evil is an Allegory for present generations. That is, the many Principles of the prophecies of the Book are to be used for guidance for our life, but makes no pretension of linking such Principles with specific periods of history. Again, as with Preterism and Historicism, it largely rejects Biblical Literalism in favor of a man-made Hermeneutic.
  • FUTURISM. Now we come to an interpretive system that in my view holds great strength and merit by its harmony with the Church fathers, and the obvious Intent of the Scriptures: “Interpretation must be based on the author’s intention of meaning and not the reader” (Dr. James Davis, ‘Bible.org,’ Nov. 6, 2013). It thus recognizes the prophetic text as just that: Prophecy. It makes the important distinction therefore between obviously allegorical or parabolic passages, and literal ones; it lets The Text itself make that determination. Finally, it therefore largely presumes the Book of Revelation is roughly Chronological, proceeding from the comparatively mild Seal Judgments, through the increasingly severe and catastrophic Trumpet and Bowl Judgments.

THE PRE-WRATH HERMENEUTIC. To restate My Approach then: I view the first Five Seals of Revelation, Chapter 6, as commensurate with the “Birth Pains” Jesus described in Matthew 24, verses 3-13. ‘The Sixth Seal’ is the bursting forth of God’s Wrath, the Rapture of the Church just before it, and a Period of Transition in Chapter 7, when the 144,000 literal Jews are sealed for service during the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, or the Great Tribulation of seven years.

I told you: Big Things.

By this Reckoning, the True Church, or Body of Christ, is in Preparation and Waiting for the Messiah’s Return, while serving as Salt and Light to a dying nation and world. OUR MISSION: ‘Rescuing’ as many as possible before The Day of the Lord, commencing with The Sixth Seal.

“Make Ready!” thus becomes the Watchword for the Church, until Shiloh Arrives.

  1. THE TIMES

So what is it like, exactly, in 2020 America, that closely ties it to the Last Days described indelibly by the God of the Bible? THREE RESPONSES suffice for now to answer that important question.

  1. THE BIBLICAL TEMPLATE. “In 1 Timothy, as we have seen, Paul speaks of the Latter Times, and he depicts conditions which have long since been fulfilled—conditions, however, which were still far in the Future when he wrote to Timothy. He said, ‘In the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils, speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.’” – DR. HARRY A. IRONSIDE, “Characteristics of the Last Days,” Commentary on 1 Timothy 4:1-4, 2 Timothy 3:1-6, 1946; edited
  1. THE AMERICAN CRISIS. “The Election of 2016 plunged US foreign policy into its greatest crisis since the period immediately preceding America’s entry into the Second World War, when an internationalist president grappled with the original ‘America First’ Movement and an Isolationist public over whether the United States should act to prevent a Nazi victory in Europe. In the Current Crisis, an ‘America First’ president has rejected the fundamental principles of US leadership since the Second World War, including the US Alliance system in Europe and Asia, free trade and an open international economy, and support for democracy and human rights. He has sought to radically change US foreign policy in line with his views over the objections of most of his National Security team and the institutions of the state, including the Pentagon, the State Department, the US intelligence community, the US Congress, and the American public, which polls show has become even more supportive of alliances, free trade, and democracy during his term.” – THOMAS WRIGHT, Nonresident Fellow, The Lowy Institute, “The Point of No Return: The 2020 Election and the Crisis of American Foreign Policy,” October 2, 2020; edited
  1. THE CHURCH & THE PRESIDENT. “The Impeachment of Donald Trump is a significant event in the story of our Republic. It requires comment…We have reserved judgment on Mr. Trump for years now. Some have criticized us for our reserve. But when it comes to condemning the behavior of another, patient charity must come first. So we have done our best to give Evangelical Trump supporters their due, to try to understand their point of view, to see the prudential nature of so many political decisions they have made regarding Mr. Trump. To use an old cliché, it’s time to call a spade a spade, to say that no matter how many hands we win in this political poker game, we are playing with a stacked deck of gross immorality and ethical incompetence. And just when we think it’s time to push all our chips to the center of the table, that’s when the whole game will come crashing down. It will crash down on the reputation of Evangelical Religion and on the world’s understanding of the Gospel. And it will come crashing down on a Nation of men and women whose welfare is also our concern.” – MARK GALLI, Outgoing Editor, “Trump Should Be Removed from Office,” ‘Christianity Today,’ December 19, 2019; edited

NOVEMBER 3, 2020. For a variety of reasons that I have written much about before, and those listed in these Three Points, I believe all the more that the Presidential Election of 2020 is America’s Last Firewall, before Hell itself visits us all in fierce measure. I do.

Thus do I believe that America is hanging like an historic Chad, on the very Edges of Destruction beyond anything we might have imagined even a few short years ago. Our Descent has been rapid, once the ‘Early Birth Tremors’ began with what I believe to be Jesus’ Tearing Opening of those first Seals in Heaven.

And, beloved, He’s just getting started.

  1. TRUMP AND THE AMERICAN REICH

Now before you go running to the nearest psychotherapist to inform them that I have lost my mind, I tell you this: I believe I just found it in these last three years.

And here’s why.

ELEPHANT IN THE AMERICAN KITCHEN. For all intents and purposes, President Donald John Trump IS ‘The American Story’ at this hour. Any illusion that this is not true requires us to presume you are either dead, or living in an Alternate Universe where “alternative facts” hold court, and sway, willy-nilly, every time someone wants to conjure a new one.

I began several of my Essays with the powerful idea that History, as George Santayana reminds us daily now, is one of Man’s Surest Teachers – if we will listen. So now I am going to close my analysis by liberally quoting from DR. MITCHELL BARD.

His centrality to this Essay requires some Introduction.

He is Executive Director of the nonprofit American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE) and a foreign policy analyst who lectures frequently on U.S.-Middle East policy. Dr. Bard is the Director of the Jewish Virtual Library, the world’s most comprehensive online encyclopedia of Jewish history and culture. He is also the author/editor of 24 books, including The Arab Lobby, ‘Death to the Infidels: Radical Islam’s War Against the Jews,’ and the novel, ‘After Anatevka: Tevye in Palestine.’

DR. BARD’S TROUBLING THESIS. The American Presidency of Donald Trump resembled the early stages of The German Reich of the 1930s in “uncomfortable” and increasingly compelling ways. – cf. “Trump and the Big Lie,” ‘The Times of Israel,’ October 2, 2020; edited

What follows in staccato, bullet point Summary Review, is, in my view, brilliant Elucidation on that Thesis that demands our most sober and serious consideration in the days just ahead.

  • TRUMP & GOEBBELS. [Biden]: “Trump is ‘sort of like [Nazi propagandist Joseph] Goebbels,’ Biden said. ‘You say the lie long enough, keep repeating it, repeating it, repeating it, it becomes common knowledge.’ That comment requires no apology. I’m not sure anyone counted, but it is unlikely Goebbels made anywhere near Trump’s 20,000 plus (an average of 12 per day) ‘false or misleading claims’ documented by the Washington Post. It is not the quantity, however, but the quality of the lies that earn the comparison to Goebbels.”
  • THE BIG LIE. “Trump’s most recent Big Lie is that the upcoming election will be tainted by fraud resulting from giving more Americans the opportunity to vote by mail, something millions, including Trump, already do every election. Trump is promoting this Lie because he anticipates losing the election and is laying the foundation for delegitimizing, if not invalidating, the outcome.”
  • THE EVIDENCE. “How do we know it is a lie? Christopher Wray, the FBI Director Trump appointed said so: ‘Now, we have not seen, historically, any kind of coordinated national voter fraud effort in a major election, whether it’s by mail or otherwise.’ And Wray’s not the only one to say so. Republican election lawyer Benjamin Ginsberg wrote, ‘The truth is that after decades of looking for illegal voting, there’s no proof of widespread fraud.’”
  • THE MEDIA. To disseminate his Big Lies, Goebbels made the press a tool of the State [to oppose the conventional media viz. ‘Lügenpresse,’ ‘lying press,’ ‘fake news’]. Trump would like to do the same, but must be content with the next best thing – Fox News (to be fair, it is the prime time and morning blowhards, not the reporters who are presidential cheerleaders). Milbank likened Trump’s Lies about voter fraud to the way ‘Hitler used the suspicious Burning of the German Parliament to turn a Democracy into a Totalitarian State.’”
  • THE REICHSTAG FIRE. “The burning of the Reichstag occurred just six days before Germany held its last ‘democratic’ election of the era. Many civil liberties were already abolished and the Nazis unleased a paroxysm of violence against their opponents. To ensure victory, Nazi organizations’ intimidated voters by ‘monitoring’ the process. Trump wants to ‘dominate” the streets to quell protests. He also said law enforcement should be used to patrol polling places, ‘invoking tactics,’ the Washington Post observed, ‘historically used to scare voters of color.’ In addition, neo-Nazis and other White Supremacists who often carry weapons and support the president say they intend to watch polling places.”
  • HITLER’S MINORITY ELECTION. “Hitler became president after that Election [of 1933] even though the Nazi party got only 44% of the vote by building the Coalition he needed to pass legislation making him a Dictator. He subsequently banned opposition parties. Trump won the presidency with only 46% of the popular vote but was stuck with those pesky Democrats. According to current polls, Trump would get only 43% of the vote this November. He could pull off another Electoral College miracle, but [Washington Post columnist Dana] Milbank fears what he might do if he can’t pull out another Royal Flush. Trump hopes Americans will believe his Big Lies about voter fraud so they accept his contention that only two outcomes are possible in November – a Trump victory or a rigged election.”
  • TRUMP’S STRATEGY. “Either way, Trump believes he should stay in power. To help him, he plans to ram through the Senate his appointment to the Supreme Court who he expects will give him a majority of justices to rubber stamp his policies and decide the election in his favor if he loses and disputes the results. Big Lies can have Big Consequences, which is why Milbank concluded: ‘America, this is our Reichstag Moment. We have the power to stop it. Don’t let Democracy burn to the ground.’”

DK’S TAKE. Do not for one minute presume that what I write here is a campaign letter for the Democrats. In many ways, I think America has no real choice this November. But this much, as my Mom used to say it on occasion of firm conviction: ‘I know that I know’:

The Reelection of Donald Trump this November 3, 2020, will inexorably lead to the  Final Destruction of the American Republic. Period. Full stop. Done. Or as Mom would have said it: ‘No hay una duda en mi mente sobre esto, ante Dios y ante el Hombre.’

Selah, y Selah otra vez.

  1. LAST THOUGHTS

As I was exchanging some of these struggles of thought with a dear friend named Marsha, she shared a Scripture that upon reflection, figures as the Perfect Summation of the State of the Nation and Church in 2020. Thus, the very finest Definition of The Times we could possibly offer.

ISAIAH SPEAKS TO AMERICA. Listen to the Jewish Prophet of God speak to an Apostate Israel nearly three millennia ago, so pertinent to our inarguably Apostate America today.

I quote at length, again, for full impact.

“Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) stands far off; for truth has fallen in the street (the city’s forum), and uprightness cannot enter [the courts of justice].

Yes, truth is lacking, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. And the Lord saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice.

And He saw that there was no man and wondered that there was no intercessor [no one to intervene on behalf of truth and right]; therefore His own arm brought Him victory, and His own righteousness [having the Spirit without measure] sustained Him.

For [the Lord] put on righteousness as a breastplate or coat of mail, and salvation as a helmet upon His head; He put on garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with zeal [and furious divine jealousy] as a cloak.

According as their deeds deserve, so will He repay wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; on the foreign islands and coastlands He will make compensation.

So [as the result of the Messiah’s intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].

He shall come as a Redeemer to Zion and to those in Jacob (Israel) who turn from transgression, says the Lord.

As for Me, this is My covenant or league with them, says the Lord: My Spirit, Who is upon you [and Who writes the law of God inwardly on the heart], and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouths of your [true, spiritual] children, or out of the mouths of your children’s children, says the Lord, from henceforth and forever.” – ISAIAH 59:14-21, AMPC

As I have said it so many times: It is up to us, beloved. And Time is nearly gone.

MATTHEW HENRY INTERPRETS. “If we shut our eyes against the Light of Divine Truth, it is just with God to hide from our eyes the things that belong to our peace. The sins of those who profess themselves God’s people, are worse than the sins of others. And the sins of a Nation bring public judgments, when not restrained by public justice. Men may murmur under calamities, but nothing will truly profit while they Reject Christ and His Gospel.”

Jesus Christ once proclaimed to His disciples that if we were to truly become His followers, this would have to be in steady, undeniable and unswerving Dedication to the Truth.

“So Jesus was saying to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in My word [continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you are truly My disciples. And you will know the truth [regarding salvation], and the truth will set you free [from the penalty of sin].” – JOHN 8:31-32, AMP

KELLY’S CODICIL. If I may, therefore, restate this in its Opposite Case: ‘If you do NOT abide in His Word continually, living by His Teachings in every way, then you are NOT truly His disciples. And you shall NOT know or recognize the truth, and shall forever be in bondage to the Lie.’

It’s All on the Line this November, beloved, as never before in our long and once noble history. May we pray well, live well, and vote well, looking always for the Return of Messiah, Coming soon to set all things Right. Every. Single. Thing.
