NOTES ON THE REBELLION OF THE AMERICAN PASTORATE: LAST CALLS TO REPAIR THE BREACH – PART III: THE FALL OF BABYLON THE GREAT

SCRIPTURES

RELIGIOUS BABYLON. “And on [the woman’s] forehead a name was written, a mystery: ‘BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES (false religions, heresies) AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.’ I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints (God’s people), and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus [who were martyred]. FIRST THOUGHTS

Ever since reading the following passages from the late DAVID WILKERSON, I have been unsettled about just who ‘Babylon the Great’ is. It is only in the last few years, after watching America and her Church hurtle wildly toward utter Darkness, that the opinions advanced here began to coalesce.

Here is what Wilkerson wrote in 1982.

“BABYLON is all who anywhere ‘profess’ to be Christ’s ‘Little Flock’ but who are not, because they Deny Him by their actions. Babylon, as far as I am concerned, is any church — any ministry — any minister — any Christian, in League with the World! It is made up of certain pastors, evangelists, and multitudes of Christians — all who have been Seduced by covetousness and worldly mindedness. It is Religion that has been polluted in its ungodly methods — and a sanctuary corrupted by ungodly alliances.” – “Babylon is Falling,” ‘World Challenge,’ 1982; edited

But then this just three years later, like a cannon shot ‘cross the entire American Landscape, from his 1985 blockbuster book, ‘Set the Trumpet to Your Mouth.’

“I believe Modern Babylon is present-day AMERICA, including its corrupt society and its whorish Church System. No other nation on earth fits the description in Revelation 18 but America, the world’s biggest fornicator with the merchants of all nations. Ancient Babylon was long destroyed when John received this vision.” – 1985, p. 4; edited

THESIS. “A proposition or theory that is put forward as a Premise to be maintained or proved.” DK: Thus defined, I shall argue here and subsequently that America is Babylon the Great (BTG), who shall, without National and Church-wide Repentance, suffer the full measure of God’s Wrath for her many sins.

Selah, beloved. There is much to follow.

THE TWO BABYLONS

As always, I rely on strong scholarship as much as possible that has gone before me, so as not to reinvent the theological wheel, as it were. This time I borrow from a magnificently researched, written and detailed Overview published by the EDITORS at ‘Bible.org’ in a piece entitled, “Babylon as Seen in Scripture: An Introduction to Rev 17-18,” ret. June 3, 2021; edited

It is based on a book by the late J. HAMPTON KEATHLEY III, theologian, Bible scholar and prolific author and pastor, entitled ‘Studies in Revelation: Christ’s Victory Over the Forces of Darkness,’ 2013; edited.

INTRODUCTION. “While reasons will be given later to support this, two different aspects of Babylon are contemplated in these chapters [in the Book of Revelation], two separate aspects of Babylon and her Fall (perhaps suggested by the repetition of the phrase ‘is fallen’ in 18:2 and 14:8). CHAPTER 17 describes Babylon in its Mystery form, as a Religious System or spirit of false worship; CHAPTER 18 describes Babylon as a Political and Commercial System embodied in a city, the City of Babylon of the future.

So, we have TWO BABYLONS: Religious Babylon [Ch. 17] and Political Babylon [Ch. 18]. As mentioned at the Conclusion of Chapter 16, these two chapters do not continue the chronological sequence of events (they do not follow the seven bowls). In fact, nothing does except the Return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Judgments associated with His Return…

Some believe there are TWO PROMINENT CITIES representing two prominent systems and both are called Babylon. The first is Rome, the head of the Religious System in the first half [of the Seven Year Great Tribulation], which is also entrenched in the political realm as she has always been (17:18). The other city is the Capitol of the great Political and Commercial System of the last half of the Tribulation after ‘the Woman’ [Mother of Harlots, 17:5] is destroyed (the Religious System), and when ‘The Beast’ [Antichrist] assumes his great power. This will be his primary headquarters, though a secondary headquarters will be Jerusalem, when he carries out the Abomination of Desolation.”

Note: Both Protestant and Catholic Churches are indicted in these passages.

BABYLON’S BIBLICAL BEGINNINGS. “Babylon comes from the Hebrew ‘Bab-el’ which some say is a Hebrew form of the Assyrian ‘Bab-ili,’ which meant ‘Gate of God,’ and is used of the ancient city on the banks of the Euphrates River. However, in Hebrew Bab-el means ‘Confusion’…

Babel is the first reference to Babylon and its beginnings. NIMROD is recorded as the Founder of Babel, later called Babylon (Gen. 10:10; 11:2-3, 5, 9). Nimrod’s nature and character are seen in both his name and in his actions as described in Genesis 10:8-10 and in his Origin in Babylon. His name means ‘Let us revolt or rebel.’ It didn’t have this meaning to the Babylonians, but this is the Biblical meaning by context and by the form of the word. In Genesis 10:8 he is called ‘a mighty one,’ and in 10:9 ‘a mighty hunter before (against) Yahweh.’ Genesis 10:10 gives us the result. A kingdom is formed as a result of his Tyranny or the exercise of absolute force (10:9-10). God’s ideal of a king is a shepherd who leads his people under God and in God’s plan. Nimrod was ‘against God’ and His plan and formed his own kingdom by force. This kingdom originally consisted of Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh in the land of Shinar, southern Babylon above the Persian Gulf and along the Euphrates River.”

DK’S TAKE. Somewhat astoundingly, a number of Biblical scholars propose that Nimrod may have been member to ‘the Nephilim’ – a tribe of an evil, hybrid giants, who ostensibly survived through Noah’s son, Ham, after The Deluge.

“There were giants [Nephilim] on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God lived with the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. These were ‘the mighty men’ who were of old, men of renown…[And] Cush became the father of Nimrod; he was the first to be ‘a mighty man’ on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord. The beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar [in Babylonia].” – GENESIS 6:4; 10:8-10, AMPC

Note: The word for “mighty” in reference to the Nephilim in Genesis 6 and Nimrod in Genesis 10 is the same word: ‘Gibbor (pl. Gibborim’) [גִּבּוֹר], translated as “A powerful one who magnifies himself, behaves proudly, a tyrant, who is bold, audacious); a giant.”

Then the normally staid and steady MATTHEW HENRY writes this of Nimrod’s subsequent appearance on the scene, as example.

“Nimrod was a great man in his day; he began to be mighty in the earth, Those before him were content to be upon the same level with their neighbours, and though every man bare rule in his own house, yet no man pretended any further. Nimrod was resolved to lord it over his neighbours. The spirit of the giants before The Flood, who became mighty men, and men of renown, Ge 6:4, revived in him.” – ‘Exposition of the Old and New Testaments,’ 6 vols., 1708-1710; edited

ROOTS. You can see from this, beloved, the crucial importance of ‘Origins’ as the First Harbinger of what comes later to Babylon, housed in the dark eddies of Nimrod’s brutal rule – whether human or superhuman.

As Jesus said it so perfectly, in His warning about False Prophets and Teachers that would come in the Last Times, bearing like-fruit.

“Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” – MATTHEW 7:15-19, AMP

THE POINT. The ‘Root’ of Babylon was foul and rotten from its inception. So shall its Modern“Fruit” be rotten as well – in the form of Mystery and Political Babylon at the End of History as we know it. And the most Fouled of all its rotted origins, ‘The ‘Antichrist’ himself, who shall bring slaughter the saints, and labor to Displace even God, to become God!

Here is a rather tantalizing configuration of ancient passages that portend (1) the First Fall of Babylon in the times of the Jews; and (2) The Fall of Lucifer in time immemorial before Babylon – his Progeny.

“You shall take up this [taunting] parable against the king of Babylon and say, How the oppressor has stilled [the restless insolence]! The golden and exacting city has ceased! … How have you fallen from heaven, O light-bringer and daystar, son of the morning! How you have been cut down to the ground, you who weakened and laid low the nations [O blasphemous, satanic king of Babylon!].” – ISAIAH 14:3-4, 12, AMPC

Do you see what I am seeing here, beloved? A Direct Line from Satan, to Nimrod’s Babylon, through to today’s Mystery Babylon the Great. All of which shall End in utter Ruin and Destruction.

As will all those who dare to ‘make alliance’ with any of it.

“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make ‘mismated alliances’ with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?… So, come out from among [unbelievers], and separate (sever) yourselves from them, says the Lord, and touch not [any] unclean thing; then I will receive you kindly and treat you with favor.” – 2 CORINTHIANS 6:14, 17, AMPC

I say again to all you Pastors and Priests: Are you listening to this? Do you hear the One who is speaking? It is clearly not this old man!

THE FIVE IDOLS OF BABYLON

Now we turn once more to the more anecdotal study of this important topic from the pen of LEAH LIVELY from her ‘Crosswalk’ piece introduced earlier. She accurately outlines the ‘Five Major Idols’ that would both help define the Identity of Last Days Babylon, but also the Reason for her uniquely catastrophic Judgment by God.

THE IDOL OF SELF-SUFFICIENCY. “Revelation 18:7 – Babylon believed they were the greatest Superpower of the world. They had everything they needed. They did not rely on anyone or anything but worshipped their own greatness.”

THE IDOL OF COMFORT. “Revelation 18:14-17 – Babylon was clothed in luxury and wealth. They had no need for God and His provision. They amassed an abundance; never honoring God or caring for the needs of others.”

THE IDOL OF OBSESSION. “Revelation 18:3 – Babylon had the worship of all the nations surrounding it. Everyone wanted what Babylon had and could not see the immorality and sin they were indulging in.”

THE IDOL OF CHURCH PERSECUTION. “Revelation 18:24 – Babylon of the Old Testament and New Testament persecuted the [true] followers of God. Just as Jesus told Paul in Acts 9, when Christ’s followers are persecuted, Jesus is also persecuted.”

THE IDOL OF DECEPTION. “Revelation 18:23 – Babylon deceived those who worship them by allowing them to believe in their greatness when they were full of sin and immorality.”

DK’S TAKE. We can see more and more how similar the Biblical Criteria for identifying Babylon the Great (BTG) are to the American Nation and people. And, so breathtakingly, her Church.

However, I would be remiss if I did not offer a Caution here that again, I am proposing this distinct possibility as a Thesis, not a God-breathed fact, as with the Trump-Antichrist connection. I believe both to be true, but it is my carefully educated guess.

So this from the desk of NATAN LAWRENCE, a thoughtful, albeit skeptical, Torah-observant Jewish Christian, from his Blog entitled, “Is America Mystery Babylon the Great?” in ‘Hoshana Rabba,’ September 25, 2018; edited.

“We have a couple of candidates that we can definitely consider as leaders of Babylon the Great, if nothing else. As of this writing, no other city in the world can claim more religious influence than the Vatican, and no other city can claim more political (and by extension, economic influence) than New York City, which houses the United Nations…[Yet] In conclusion, we urge the reader to be careful about getting caught up in the hysteria where prophetic pronouncements are being made by so-called Biblical prophecy experts, who are whipping the people up through fear.”

Therefore, having hoisted myself upon my own petard to some degree should I fit any of the good Rabbi’s criteria, we move to the Final Statement of Biblical Evidence to support my Thesis that America looks more and more like Last Days Babylon.

37 REASONS FOR AN AMERICAN BABYLON

This section is adapted from the original writings of the late Christian eschatologist, R. A. COOMBES, published in 1998, in an article entitled, “America the Babylon: America’s Destiny Foretold in Biblical Prophecy.” It was subsequently reissued by TIM MCHYDE in ‘Escape All These Things’ (Luke 21:36) on May 2, 2006, with the following Introduction.

“Much of this article’s material has been adapted from chapter 4 of Volume 2 of ‘America, The Babylon,’ but since publication of the book in [1998] which featured 57 reasons, this article provides an added 3 new reasons and composed in May of 2006…

There are numerous ‘Character Traits’ listed for this City/State/Nation that is referred to as either ‘Babylon’ or ‘Mystery Babylon.’ These character traits serve as identifying markers that give us the clues as to the identity of such a city/nation. Those traits must all match perfectly to one identity. We cannot ignore some and select others. These traits are numerous and 60 of those traits clearly cannot be identified with Iraq. The following list shows what traits do NOT match up with Iraq.”

ADDENDUM. I happen, again, to believe all this to be very probably TRUE at this point in my ongoing, prayerful and thoroughly researched Prolegomena to the American Moment since Donald Trump took office in 2016.

Contrary to ancient times, most Christians and Jews today live in America.

The chief city of Mystery Babylon is a “deep water port city.” – REV. 18:11-13, 17-19

That City is the key commercial nation and engine of wealth for the world’s economy. – ISA. 47:15; Rev. 17:2, 18:3, 9, 11-3, 15-23, 19:2

It is the principal commodities trading center. – REV. 18:12-13

It is also a leading center of imports and consumption. – REV. 18:11, 17-19

She is also a manufacturing nation. – REV. 18:22

Mystery Babylon is a center for merchandising and marketing. – REV. 18:3, 23; 19:2

She is also known as the “World’s Policeman.” – JER. 50:23

The city is known for “showing the flag” or “Gunboat Diplomacy.” – ISA. 18:1-2

It is noted for its elegant, luxurious, refined and rich lifestyles. – ISA. 47:1-8; REV. 17:4-5, 18:2-24

It is without question, extremely wealthy. – JER. 51:13; REV. 18:2-19

It is also sensual, materialistic, and excessive in its lifestyle. – ISA. 47:8; REV. 18:14

It exhibits the highest living standards among the nations. – ISA. 47:1; REV. 18:14

Again, it offers its citizens an elegant, sumptuous lifestyle. – REV. 18:14, 23

It is noted for its bright, gaudy-colored lights and nightlife with round-the-clock partying. – REV. 18:14

It is also noted for its drugs and drug use. – ISA. 47:9, 12; REV. 18:23

The city is noted for exporting its culture abroad. – REV. 18:14, 22

It is also known for being wasteful and extravagant. – REV. 18:3, 7, 9, 14-15; imp. 17:2

It has a massive population. – REV. 17:1, 15; 18:15

It is a land of immigrants. – JER. 50:16; 51:13; REV. 17:1, 15

It is unique and awe-inspiring (‘Exceptional’) from its birth right up to its demise. – ISA. 18:2

It has a remarkably different and special heritage. – Isa. 18:2

It is respected and envied and yet hated by the whole world at the same time. – ISA. 18:2

It is powerful and oppressive. – ISA. 18:2

It is a land of rebels in its birth. – JER. 51:1; Isa. 47:9

It is cosmopolitan and urban. – JER. 50:32

It is also a land of great agriculture. – JER. 50:16

It is an international city. – REV. 17:18; 18:15

It exhibits grand architecture, buildings and impressive skylines. – ISA. 13:22

It is a “Land of many waters” (fresh waters). – JER. 51:13, 36, 42; ISA. 18:12

It is where the World’s Leaders “stream” to meet. – JER. 51:44; 17:18

It is the last of the Superpowers. – JER. 50:12; REV. 17:18-19

It has no fear of invasion. – ISA. 47:5, 8; REV. 18:7

Its defenses reach up to outer space. – JER. 51:53

It also displays occult aspects, especially within the government leadership. – ISA. 47:9, 12-13

It forges alliances and treaties that allow physical military bases of operation for Satanic forces. – REV. 18:2

Its national symbol is presented in Scripture as a robed woman with a cup-like container in one hand, and is considered to be a mother-figure of spiritual prostitution. – REV. 17:4-5

DK’S TAKE. To be clear: I have not taken the time to cull through each and every Scripture noted in this list, but I offer it to you for your own study and proof-texting, which I continue to do as well.

But as with my exhaustive list of 33 Biblical Criteria for the Antichrist, we must at least honor this Principle: We cannot argue such grave matters without the Scriptures and the proper Hermeneutic in order to arrive at the best Conclusions.

LAST THOUGHTS

For me, beloved, the Game Changer for both the Destiny of America and her grotesquely errant Church was JANUARY 6, 2021. It changed me pretty much forever, not unlike 9-11 forever changed the nature of American foreign policy, and how Covid-19 has forever changed the Trajectory of American and Global life.

I can simply never be the same after that bloody, seditious and uniquely blasphemous ‘Christian Insurrection.’ For that is what it was, dear friends, and nothing less. As I have argued and written and shouted and sometimes screamed into my video microphone:

The American Church remains Silent, dead Silent! Selah.

MICHAEL SPENCER SPEAKS. In closing out our discussion today, I turn to a most prescient and off the beaten path Christian writer, who some 12 years ago wrote a stunningly prophetic piece entitled, “The Coming Evangelical Collapse,” published in the highly respected ‘Christian Science Monitor’ on March 10, 2009; edited.

Long before Donald Trump was even a political whisper.

Here is how he describes himself in his Bio: “Michael Spencer is a writer and communicator living and working in a Christian community in Kentucky. He describes himself as “a Post-Evangelical Reformation Christian in search of a Jesus-shaped spirituality.” This essay is adapted from a series on his Blog, InternetMonk.com.”

THE LEAD for his superb analysis starts with this extraordinary statement.

“An Anti-Christian Chapter in Western History is about to begin. But out of the ruins, a new vitality and integrity will rise. We are on the Verge – within 10 years [2019] – of a major Collapse of Evangelical Christianity. This Breakdown will follow the deterioration of the mainline Protestant world and it will fundamentally alter the religious and cultural environment in the West.

Within two generations, Evangelicalism will be a House Deserted of half its occupants. (Between 25 and 35 percent of Americans today are Evangelicals.) In the ‘Protestant’ 20th century, Evangelicals flourished. But they will soon be living in a very secular and religiously antagonistic 21st century.”

Got your attention yet, boys and girls? Good. Let’s continue with the MAIN POINTS from this exceptional man’s thinking.

POLITICS. “Evangelicals have identified their Movement with the Culture War and with Political Conservatism. This will prove to be a very costly mistake. Evangelicals will increasingly be seen as a threat to cultural progress. Public leaders will consider us bad for America, bad for education, bad for children, and bad for society.”

ILLITERACY. “We Evangelicals have failed to pass on to our young people an Orthodox form of Faith that can take root and survive the Secular onslaught. Ironically, the billions of dollars we’ve spent on youth ministers, Christian music, publishing, and media has produced a culture of young Christians who know next to nothing about their own faith except how they feel about it. Our young people have deep beliefs about the Culture War, but do not know why they should obey Scripture, the essentials of theology, or the experience of spiritual discipline and community. Coming generations of Christians are going to be monumentally ignorant and unprepared for culture-wide pressures.”

MEGACHURCHES. “There are three kinds of Evangelical churches today: Consumer-driven megachurches, Dying churches, and New churches whose future is fragile. Denominations will shrink, even vanish, while fewer and fewer Evangelical churches will survive and thrive.”

EDUCATION. “Despite some very successful developments in the past 25 years, Christian Education has not produced a product that can withstand the rising tide of Secularism. Evangelicalism has used its educational system primarily to staff its own needs and talk to itself.”

COMPROMISE. “The confrontation between Cultural Secularism and the Faith at the core of Evangelical efforts to ‘do good’ is rapidly approaching. We will soon see that the good Evangelicals who want to do well will be viewed as bad by so many, and much of that work will not be done. Look for ministries to take on a less and less distinctively Christian face in order to survive.”

PRAGMATISM. “The money will dry up. What will be left? Expect Evangelicalism to look more like the Pragmatic, Therapeutic, church-growth oriented Megachurches that have [re]defined ‘success.’ Emphasis will shift from Doctrine to relevance, motivation, and personal success – resulting in churches further compromised and weakened in their ability to pass on the Faith.”

A REMNANT. “Expect a fragmented response to the Culture War. Some Evangelicals will work to create their own Countercultures, rather than try to change the culture at large. Some will continue to see Conservatism and Christianity through one lens and will engage the Culture War much as before – a status quo the media will be all too happy to perpetuate. A significant number, however, may give up political engagement for a ‘Discipleship of deeper impact.’”

SPENCER CONCLUDES. “Will the coming Collapse get Evangelicals past the Pragmatism and Shallowness that has brought about the loss of substance and power? Probably not. The purveyors of the Evangelical Circus will be in fine form, selling their wares as the promised solution to every church’s problems. I expect the Landscape of Megachurch vacuity to be around for a very long time.

Will it shake lose the Prosperity Gospel from its parasitical place on the Evangelical body of Christ? Evidence from similar periods is not encouraging. American Christians seldom seem to be able to separate their theology from an overall idea of personal affluence and success…

[However] We can rejoice that in the Ruins, ‘new forms’ of Christian vitality and ministry will be born. I expect to see a vital and growing House Church Movement. This cannot help but be good for an Evangelicalism that has made buildings, numbers, and paid staff its drugs for half a century.

We need [a] ‘New Evangelicalism’ that learns from the past and listens more carefully to what God says about being His people in the midst of a powerful, idolatrous culture.”

CODA. Can I hear an “Amen!” out there somewhere, beloved? You see, God is doing ‘Something New’ midst all this loss and collapse and even Apostasy that is taking place at lightning speed today. He is, the more I reflect on these grave matters, doing what an old Prophet once declared long ago.

“Do not [earnestly] remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing A NEW THING! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” – ISAIAH 43:18-19, AMPC; emphasis my own

GOD SPEAKS. So, what can I now say, beloved ones of the King? What more must we write in order to Awaken even the most hardened, stubborn or possibly confused and struggling seeker of The Christ?

Just THREE FINAL ADMONITIONS of His Church and their Pastors in this most Fateful Hour:

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, ‘COME OUT OF HER, my people, so that you will not be a partner in her sins and receive her plagues; for her sins (crimes, transgressions) have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her wickedness and crimes [for judgment]’…See to it that you do not refuse [to listen to] Him who is speaking [to you now]. For if those [sons of Israel] did not escape when they refused [to listen to] him who warned them on earth [revealing God’s will], how much less will we escape if we turn our backs on Him who warns from heaven?” – REVELATION 18:4-5; HEBREWS 12:25, AMP; emphasis my own

“For behold, those who are far from You shall perish [be exterminated for their sin]; You will destroy all who are false to You and like [spiritual] harlots depart from You. But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God and made Him my refuge, that I may tell of all Your works.” – PSALM 73:27-28, AMPC

JOSEPH BENSON. “‘For lo, they that are far from thee shall perish’ — That is, they that forsake Thee and Thy ways, preferring the prosperity of this present evil world to thy love, and favour, and service; they who estrange themselves from an acquaintance with Thee, and a conformity to Thee; who are alienated from Thy life, through the ignorance of Thee, which is in them, and rest short of, or decline from, union and communion with Thee; that say, if not in words, yet in effect, ‘Depart from us, for we desire not the knowledge of Thy ways.’ ‘Thou hast destroyed’ — And Thou wilt still certainly and dreadfully destroy; ‘all them that go a whoring from Thee’ — Who, having professed subjection to Thee, shall afterward REVOLT from Thee, which is called ‘whoredom’, or ‘adultery’ (figuratively speaking) in Scripture. Beloved, I can only add my small voice to that of the One who now Roars from Heaven’s Housetops to us all: ‘Come out of Babylon!’ while there is still time left to us. The King would have us join in the Chorus of a shimmering New Song of Joy.

Or suffer this unspeakable REPLY from the Holy One of Israel:

“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” – MATTHEW 7:23, NKJV

PASTORS. As ever, The Choice belongs entirely to you vastly more than to your wayward congregations (James 3:1). Apostasy and the Second Death; or, heartfelt Contrition and full-throated Public Repentance, leading to Eternal Life for some.

There is no middle ground, brothers. There never has been.
