PRÉCIS ON THE CHURCH, NATION AND WORLD AT THE PRECIPICE II: BRACING FOR THE GREAT STORM AHEAD
AUTHOR NOTE: This Commentary was drafted on Friday, June 28, 2024, some 38 days before I received the SCREEN SAVER CHANGE today, Monday, August 5, 2024. This conjunction of the same message over a month apart may well suggest we pay attention to it. IF TRUE: ‘Something is Coming soon.’
SCRIPTURE. “The Lord reigns, let the peoples tremble [with submissive wonder]! He sits enthroned above the cherubim, let the earth shake!” – PSALM 99:1, AMP
KEY TERM: “TREMBLE!” ‘Ragaz’ [יִרְגְּז֣וּ]: “A primitive root meaning, ‘To quiver (with violent emotion, as with anger or fear);’ to be afraid, stand in awe, disquiet, fall out [or apart]; to quake, rage, shake or become deeply troubled; to agitate or disturb; to shake involuntarily, as with fear, cold or weakness; to quake; to quiver; to shiver; to shudder or totter [when terrified].”
QUOTATION. “Are you paralyzed with fear? That’s a good sign. Fear is good. Like self-doubt, fear is an indicator. ‘Fear tells us what we have to do.’ Remember one rule of thumb: the more scared we are of a work or calling, the more sure we can be that we have to do it.” ― STEVEN PRESSFIELD, The War of Art: Winning the Inner Creative Battle, 2012; edited
COMMENTARY. “‘The Lord reigneth, let the people tremble!’ — Namely, such of them as are enemies to God and His truth. ‘He sitteth between the cherubims’ — Upon the Ark; that is, he is present with his people, to protect them [and punish their enemies. ‘Let the earth’ —Namely, the people of the earth; ‘be moved!’ — With fear and trembling. ‘The Lord is great in Zion’ — ‘He is high above all people’ — Above all the people of the earth who exalt themselves against Him. ‘Let them’ —Namely, all people last mentioned; ‘praise Thy great and terrible name’ — And give Thee the glory due unto it; ‘for it is holy’ — As well as great, and therefore worthy to be praised. The holiness of God’s name makes it truly great to his friends and terrible to His enemies.” – JOSEPH BENSON, Notes on the Holy Bible, 5 vols., 1811-1818; edited
DK’S TAKE. At considerable risk of repeating myself, I’ll go straight to the point in keeping with the Shortness of The Hour. Jesus is at the very Door of His Return, yet the American Church slumbers! Or worse, has climbed into the rancid bed of Antichrist, destined for The Flame. Most Christians are neither fully aware of the Perilous Times in which we dwell (2 Timothy 3:1). Nor, consequently, are they prepared for what is Coming (Luke 12:35).
‘We stand at The Precipice of History,’ but most who claim to be “Christian” are not ready, for they have been taught to not be ready, beloved! Our Sermons are filled with Leaven and a Lust for the World Spirit. Yet shall the Faithful Remnant be spared God’s Recompense, while the Unfaithful Church enter the Storm butt naked.
JESUS WARNED: “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.” – MATTHEW 16:25-27, NKJV
Any Questions, beloved? Class dismissed.
