PRÉCIS ON THE DAY OF THE JACKAL: WHAT THE TRUMP ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT MEANS – (WITH VIDEO)

COMMENTARY. “In Revelation 13 the Apostle John records Visions that he saw, including a Sign of a Dragon and a terrible Beast that had ‘ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name’ (Revelation 12:1). As John watches, ‘One of the heads of the Beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the Beast’ (Revelation 13:3). DK’S TAKE. “‘The Day of the Jackal’ is a 1973 political thriller film directed by Fred Zinnemann and starring Edward Fox and Michael Lonsdale. Based on the 1971 novel of the same name by Frederick Forsyth, the film is about a professional assassin known only as the ‘Jackal’ who is hired to assassinate French president Charles de Gaulle in the summer of 1963.

On 22 August 1962, the militant underground organization, OAS, infuriated by the French government granting independence to Algeria, attempt to assassinate President Charles de Gaulle. The assassination attempt fails, leaving de Gaulle and his entire entourage unharmed. That phrase exploded in my mind as I began to set a few words to my reflections following the Saturday July 13 (2024) assassination attempt on former president Donald Trump at a rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, around 6 pm local time. After reading the synopsis above, I see now why now I was prompted to visit it.

JACKAL. “Resembling a dog and a fox. A person who performs routine or menial tasks for another. A person who serves or collaborates with another especially in the commission of base acts.”

Beloved, clearly, we are in what several secular news reports called a deeply troubling, unprecedented time of Uncertainty and Great Peril. Although there have been presidential assassinations and attempted assassinations before (Kennedy, 1963; Reagan, 1981), this is different.

Indeed: ‘Everything in America today is different.’ Let me cite just a few to support a Basic Premise that DONALD TRUMP has, in just eight short years, radically changed the Political and Spiritual Reality of The Times as no one else in history.

• THE GOP. In the wake of his winning the nomination and presidency in 2016, he rewrote the Republican Platform by effectively gutting it, leaving it open to his every preference and command. Republican leaders who originally opposed his candidacy nearly all fell into line by 2018 and remain there today to do his bidding.

• THE CHURCH. Clearly the most destructive impact of Trump’s ideological domination of Republican politics is the nearly absolute conquest of the entire White American Evangelical community. Since the 2016 Election, the number has remained a fairly constant 80 plus percent. This in spiritual violation of the Biblical Text and the Christian Canon.

• THE NATION. Never before have we seen such internecine division and hatred in our ranks, or at least since the Civil War. I expect we are likely headed toward Civil War II and am reminded of CHRIST’S WARNING: “‘Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.’ For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household” (Matthew 10:34-36, New King James).

• THE WORLD. One last unprecedented, now Seismic Shift has been Trump’s impact on the traditional Western Alliance under NATO. He riddled that community during his four years in office, while aligning instead with the leaders such as Kim Jong Un of North Korea, Vladimir Putin of Russia, and just two days ago, Viktor Mihály Orbán of Hungary. Undoubtably, he is assembling a new Axis of Evil in preparation for his Ten Nations Confederation when he rises to power.

• THE PRESIDENCY. When Donald Trump assumes his second term on January 20, 2025, he shall immediately being to institute both Agenda 47 and the Heritage Foundation’s seditious Project 2025 that will effective strip the US Constitution’s Balance of Powers Doctrine, giving him nearly unlimited Executive Authority. His pledge to become “Your Retribution!” will involve the severe persecution of all his enemies.

IS TRUMP, ‘THE ONE’? Before answering that directly, first consider TEN BIBLICAL MARKERS (of 46) that are vital to the objective assessment of who Donald Trump is. Abbreviated from my book, The Sixth Seal II (2024, pp. 180-182) that were in turn borrowed from Brother Paul’s online Antichrist 45 YouTube channel (January 2022).

1. The Antichrist has the ‘mouth of a lion’ (Revelation 13:2).
2. The Antichrist is ‘boastful and arrogant’ (Daniel 7:8, 8:25).
3. The Antichrist ‘denies the Father and the Son’ (1 John 2:22).
4. The Antichrist ‘is a vile person’ (Daniel 11:21).
5. The Antichrist ‘throws truth to the ground’ (Daniel 8:12).
6. The Antichrist ‘comes in his own name’ (John 5:43).
7. The Antichrist ‘has a covenant with many’ (Daniel 9:27).
8. The Antichrist ‘loves gold’ (Revelation 13:1).
9. The Antichrist ‘honors the god of forces’ (Daniel 11:38).

10.The Antichrist ‘is called the Little Horn’ (Daniel 7:8).

PROPOSAL. In light of the Assassination Event of July 13, 2024, plus the accumulated evidence of Donald Trump’s unprecedented impact on national and world order, and the Biblical Canon that exquisitely describes the “Man of Sin” (ὁ ἄνθρωπος τῆς ἁμαρτίας, ‘ho anthrōpos tēs hamartias’), I do propose that Donald John Trump is in fact the ANTICHRIST.

If this be Accurate Analysis: THREE CONCLUSIONS are warranted: (1) The American Church is largely Apostate for having either ignored Trump or joined forces with him, the penalty for which, without repentance, is Perdition. (2) The Unsaved shall have a little more time to accept Christ as their Redeemer in order to avoid the Seven Year Tribulation and death by beheading that will likely commence once Trump accedes to the Presidency. (3) The True Remnant Church will be spared the Great Tribulation, but not the runup of the Five Seal Judgments of Revelation Chapter 6:1-11 (Antichrist, War, Famine, Pestilence, and Martyrdom).

CODA. I have studied Presidential Politics and Political Eschatology for over 40 years, and believe these proposals have merit. I have in all that time never dared to broach such ideas as being fulfilled – until now, beloved. Until now. We truly are at History’s Precipice with only a few months and years left to us to decide our destiny.

I urge you, indeed, beg you to “Get on the Ark!” While it is still Day, before Night fully comes, when no one can anymore work, as JESUS CHRIST said it in John 9:4.
