PRÉCIS ON THE END OF AN ERA TOWARD A BRIDGE OF TRANSFER: THE REMNANT’S PROMISE OF NEW YEARS EVE 2024
SCRIPTURE. “Sing, O barren one, you who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child! For the [spiritual] children of the desolate one will be more than the children of the married wife, says the Lord.
Enlarge the place of your tent, and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; spare not; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes, For you will spread abroad to the right hand and to the left; and your offspring will possess the nations and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Fear not, for you shall not be ashamed; neither be confounded and
depressed, for you shall not be put to shame. For you shall forget the shame of your youth, and you shall not [seriously] remember the reproach of your widowhood any more.” – ISAIAH 54:1-4, AMPC
KEY TERM: “SPREAD ABROAD!” ‘Parats’ [תִּפְרֹ֑צִי]: “From a primitive root meaning, ‘To break out, burst forth, increase, spread abroad;’ also, to breach, rend, or break away [from a previous condition]; to be compelled to increase, grow, open, disperse or scatter.” NOTE: “The Hebrew verb ‘parats’ primarily conveys the idea of breaking through or bursting forth. It is often used in contexts where there is a sudden or forceful increase or expansion. This can refer to physical breaking or spreading, such as a breach in a wall, or metaphorically, such as an increase in numbers or influence.”
QUOTATION. ““How strange that the nature of life is Change, yet the nature of human beings is to Resist Change. And how ironic that the Difficult Times we fear might ruin us are the very ones that can break us open and help us blossom into who we were meant to be.” ― ELIZABETH LESSER, Broken Open: How Difficult Times Can Help Us Grow, 2005; edited
COMMENTARY. “‘Thou shalt not be ashamed.’ — As formerly, of the straitness of thy borders, and the fewness of thy children. ‘Thou shalt forget the reproach of thy youth.’ — Thy barrenness in former times: So great shall be thy fertility and felicity, that it shall cause thee to forget thy former unfruitfulness and misery. ‘And shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood.’ — That time and state when thou wast like a widow, disconsolate and desolate, deprived or forsaken of her husband, and having few or no children.
‘For thy Maker’ — He who made thee out of nothing, and therefore can fulfil all these Promises, how improbable soever their fulfilment may appear; ‘is thy Husband’ — Will own thee for His spouse, and give thee proof of His conjugal affection. ‘The Lord of Hosts.’ — Who hath the sovereign command of all men and creatures, and therefore can subdue the Gentiles to thee, and can make thee to increase and multiply in so prodigious a measure, even in thy old age, notwithstanding thy barrenness in the days of thy youth, of which he speaks in the foregoing verse.
‘The God of the whole earth shall He be called.’ — The God and Father of all nations. Whereas formerly He was called the God of Israel only, and the Gentiles had no special relation to Him, the Time is now coming when He shall be called the God of the Gentiles also, having admitted them into the same Covenant relation to Himself with the Jews, and the partition wall between Jews and Gentiles being broken down. See Zechariah 14:9; Romans 3:29; Ephesians 2:11-16.” – JOSEPH BENSON, Notes on the Holy Bible, 5 vols., 1811-1818; edited
DK’S TAKE. On the early morning of FEBRUARY 15, 2022, I first received this Prophetic Scripture as I was struggling to extend the reach of the Circuit Ride Vision to a larger audience. It was not the best of times as the Trump Shadow spread over the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, even though he had lost the Presidential Election of 2020.
This was followed by a major Takedown in our outreach prior to and following the Election of 2024 as we lost patrons and division began to creep into the Peloton Confessing Fellowship. To the extent that I was becoming convinced that my time had run its course, and it was about to end. But then something happened, unforeseen, unexpected, and possibly even un-prayed for.
A couple of Commentaries exploded on YouTube almost overnight, with subscriptions climbing from a few hundred to its current level of about 1,400 Subscribers. Then some new patronage began to filter in to replace the staggering losses around the 2020 Election.
THE PROMISE. I cannot explain any of this, beloved, save for the Lessons of Isaiah 54 – That if God says we shall “expand and spread out to the left and to the right,” then that is precisely what shall happen. And it does please and glorify our King that it should take place in the Path of Deep Darkness among the nations.
“Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” – ISAIAH 60:1-3, AMPC
Whether by our life and our testimony, or by our martyrdom and death, His Light of Truth shall go out from us as never before, beloved. And the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against it! (Matthew 16:18).
Maranatha!
