PRÉCIS ON THE FIRE FROM HEAVEN COMING TO THE EARTH: SOON AND VERY SOON

SCRIPTURE. “But with righteousness and justice shall He judge the poor and decide with fairness for the meek, the poor, and the downtrodden of the earth; and He shall smite the earth and the oppressor with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.” – ISAIAH 11:4, AMPC

KEY TERM: “JUDGE!” ‘Shaphat’ [יִשְׁפּ֔וֹט]. “‘To pronounce a sentence, for or against, an accused (by the King);’ to punish as a component of governing; to plead, reason or rule; to bring about justice; to act as law giver; specifically decide controversy, discriminate between persons in civil, political, domestic and religious questions: ‘At the Theophonic Event, the Final Judgment of all!’”

QUOTATION. “The Transformation the Church needs is the kind that results from beholding the Glory of God in the Face of Christ (2 Cor. 3:18–4:6). This Glory of God is a saving and judging Glory—an Aroma of Life to those being saved and Death to those perishing (2 Cor. 2:15–16), and this saving and judging Glory is at the Center of Biblical Theology.”  JAMES M. HAMILTON JR., God’s Glory in Salvation Through Judgment, 2010; edited

COMMENTARY. “‘With righteousness shall He judge the poor.’ The picture which Isaiah had drawn of ‘the Corrupt Judges of his time’ gives point to the contrast (Isaiah 1:23Isaiah 2:14-15Isaiah 10:1-2). The poor whom they trampled on should be the special objects of the care of the true King (Matthew 11:5).

‘He shall smite the earth.’ — The ‘Earth’ stands here, if we accept the reading, for the Rulers who are for the time supreme in it. A slight alteration of the Hebrew gives shall smite the Tyrant,’ which forms a better parallelism with the ‘Ungodly’ of the next clause. The phrase ‘the Sceptre of His mouth’ is significant. The word which the Messiah-King speaks shall be as the Sceptre which is the symbol of authority. So in Revelation 1:16, ‘a sharp two-edged Sword’ comes forth from the mouth of the Christ of St. John’s vision. The latter clause, ‘with the breath of His lips shall He slay’ … has a parallel in Hosea 6:5.” – CHARLES ELLICOTT, An Old and New Testament Commentary, 1878, 1897; edited

DK’S TAKE. For the Remnant Church of the Last Days, this most important Doctrine is taken as the very Foundation of God’s dealings with the people of the Earth at the End of History.  Therefore, we ought tremble at the very thought of being brought before the Lion King of Judah, though we be covered by His Blood.

And yet, the American Church of the 2020s dares, dares I say to not only ignore this Central Theology of the Biblical Canon, but to throw it out wholesale as if it were the rancid water of yesterday’s duties! They have done this for at least eight years running now, with the following DISASTROUS CONSEQUENCES:

  • The irretrievable loss of the Christian Witness in our land.
  • The subsequent reelection of Donald Trump, Antichrist, to the presidency.
  • The loss of hundreds of millions of American lives in the Eschaton.
  • The collapse of the American Church in our time.
  • The destruction of the entire Nation in our time.
  • The annihilation of the International Order and the End of the World.

CODA. Thus, as a Great Calm precedes a Catastrophic Storm, America sleeps under the Delusion of “Peace, Peace!” Even while the First Tremors become louder and m ore violent, the Nation slumbers on, buried in its sense of self-importance and impunity toward the God whom they have refashioned in their own image.

For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the [very] day when Noah entered the ark, and they did not know or understand until the flood came and swept them all away; ‘so will the coming of the Son of Man be [unexpected judgment].’” – MATTHEW 24:38-39, AMP
