PRÉCIS ON THE TUMULT PRODUCED BY TELLING THE TRUTH:  A PAULINE PROPHECY FOR AMERICA’S FINAL DAYS

SCRIPTURE. “Then the whole city was provoked and confused, and the people rushed together. They seized Paul and dragged him out of the temple, and immediately the gates were closed. Now while they were trying to kill him, word came to the commander of the [Roman] garrison that all Jerusalem was in a state of upheaval. So he immediately took soldiers and centurions and ran down among them. When the people saw the commander and the soldiers, they stopped beating Paul.” – ACTS 21:30-32, AMP

KEY TERM: “UPHEAVAL.” Sugcheó’ [συγχέω]: “From two primitive roots meaning ‘to comingle promiscuously;’ thus, throw an assembly into disorder [by the conflict of opposites]; to perplex (the mind); confound, confuse, stir up to tumult or outbreak; be in an uproar; to disturb or bewilder; violent commotion, disturbance or agitation of a multitude, usually accompanied with great noise, uproar and confusion of voices.”

QUOTATION. “If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every proportion of the truth of God except precisely that ‘little Point’ which the World and the Devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. ‘Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved,’ and to be steady on all the battlefield besides, is mere flight and disgrace if he flinches at that Point.” – MARTIN LUTHER, c. 1530 AD

COMMENTARY. “‘In the Temple,’ where Paul should have been protected as in a place of safety, he was violently set upon. They falsely charged him with ill doctrine and ill practice against the Mosaic ceremonies. ‘It is no new thing for those who mean honestly and act regularly, to have things laid to their charge which they know not and never thought of.’ It is common for the wise and good to have that charged against them by malicious people, with which they thought to have obliged them. God often makes those a protection to His people, who have no affection to them, but only have compassion for sufferers, and regard to the public peace. And here see what false, mistaken notions of ‘good people’ and ‘good ministers,’ many run away with. But God seasonably interposes for the safety of His [true] servants, from wicked and unreasonable men; and gives them opportunities to speak for themselves, to plead for the Redeemer, and to spread abroad His glorious Gospel.” – MATTHEW HENRY, Exposition of the Old and New Testaments, 6 vols., 1708-1710; edited

DK. I have already said it, beloved: This is what is coming to America and has already arrived. That is, the violent persecution of those faithful believers in Christ who dare to resist and even boldly oppose the vicious forces of Donald Trump’s Maga Christian Nationalism.

By those “In the Temple” of God!

Shunning and bitter accusation from other Christians, even family members. Fear of losing one’s job if he or she dare to speak out. The violence of the J6 Insurrection in Washington, a mere harbinger of what is yet to come. Finally, later perhaps, confiscation of material goods, incarceration and even death.

THE QUESTION: Will you stand, brother? Will you stand, sister? Or will you continue to cower before The Beast of Bablyon who shall soon station himself one last time in the Seat of Power?

AS MESSIAH HAS ASKED:

“And will not [our just] God defend and avenge His elect [His chosen ones] who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay [in providing justice] on their behalf? I tell you that He will defend and avenge them quickly. ‘However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [this kind of persistent] faith on the earth?’” – LUKE 18:7-8, AMP

Will He now? Will He now indeed. Selah.
