PRÉCIS ON FINAL SHOUTS FROM THE LION OF JUDAH: ESCAPE FROM THE DAUGHTER OF BABYLON!

SCRIPTURE. “Ho! Escape to Zion, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon!” – ZECHARIAH 2:7, AMPC

KEY TERM: “ESCAPE!” ‘Malat’ [הִמָּלְטִ֑י]: “A primitive root meaning, ‘To be smooth;’therefore, ‘To escape as with slipperiness;’also, to rescue or release [from great danger]; to leap out or away from in order to be preserved.” NOTE: “The Hebrew verb ‘malat’ primarily conveys the idea of escaping or being delivered from danger or distress. It is often used in contexts where an individual or group is saved from physical peril, such as enemies or natural disasters. The term can also imply spiritual or moral deliverance, highlighting God’s role as a Deliverer.”

COMMENTARY. “Many of the captive Israelites did not return to Jerusalem because they preferred to stay in Babylon, where they had experienced a measure of wealth and security. But Zechariah instructed them to leave Babylon quickly! This was and urgent request because Babylon would be destroyed, and its decadent culture would cause God’s people to forget their spiritual priorities. AMERICAN BABYLON. I have spent much labor on presenting the case for the United States of America being the fulfillment of Ancient Babylon’s Rebirth, and President Donald Trump as being the Beast of Babylon, the Biblical Antichrist.

That may unsettle, shock, or even anger some of you, but ten years of relentless pursuit of the truth of these grave matters inexorably led me to these conclusions. They are documented in my recent book, The Sixth Seal II: A Pre-Wrath Commentary Redux of the Rise of Donald Trump and the Decline of the American Order (2024).

• ISAIAH 47:1-4 (AMP). “Come down, and sit in the dust, O Virgin Daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground [in abject humiliation]; there is no throne for you, O Daughter of the Chaldeans, for you shall no longer be called dainty and delicate. Take the millstones [like the poorest female slave of the household does] and grind meal; take off your veil and uncover your hair. Remove your skirt, bare your leg, wade through the rivers [at the command of your captors]. Your nakedness shall be exposed, and your shame shall be seen. I will take vengeance, and I will spare no man [none I encounter will be able to resist Me].”

• DAUGHTER OF BABYLON. “The Daughter of Babylon is just that; the Offspring of the first Anti-God Religious System set up by Nimrod at the Tower of Babel. When God dispersed the nations after dividing their tongues, this False Religious System went with them and a ‘Daughter’ was eventually born. So rather than retread old, well-travelled ground, I close with the superb analysis by DR. STEVEN ANDERSON, a theologian who holds the doctorate from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has personally shared with me that the “Progressive Dispensationalist” faculty there opposed his work vigorously, suggesting that nearly all American Seminaries are likewise antagonistic to the Literalist Exegesis of the Apocalyptic Scriptures.

THREE ARGUMENTS. I repost Dr. Anderson’s Three Major Arguments for the conclusion that America is Babylon the Great, referenced in the Book of Revelation, Chapters 17 and 18.

• THESIS. “‘Babylon the Great is a World Hegemon, a country which Dominates world politics, economics, and culture in the End Times.’ Further, the text of Revelation indicates that it is a unique entity in the world, ἡ πόλις ἡ μεγάλη the ‘Great Polis.’ It uniquely makes all the nations of the world wealthy, reigns over the nations of the world, imposes its culture on all the nations, and leads them in a massive downward spiral of materialistic depravity that culminates in worldwide worship of Satan and the Antichrist during the second half of the Tribulation Period. ‘These are things that can only be done once, and the United States is now doing them.’ Never before in history has a single country dominated all the other countries of the world and enjoyed such preeminence in comparison to all the others. • IMPLICATIONS. “‘The New Testament speaks repeatedly of the extreme difficulty believers will face in the End Times, in the period leading up to the Rapture of the Church’ (2 Thess 2:3; 1 Tim 4:1-3; 2 Tim 3:1-9, 13; 4:3-4; 2 Pet 3:3-6; Jude 17-19; Rev 3:14-22). It calls this period ‘Difficult Times’ (2 Tim 3:1)—strong language when considering all the persecutions and false teachings that have beset the Church since its inception. ‘The Bible expressly teaches that there will be a great, worldwide Rebellion against God at the End of the Present Age’ (2 Thess 2:3), and that this Rebellion will make inroads in the Church as well as the world (2 Tim 4:3-4) … It should be noted that these ‘Prophecies of a Great Worldwide Rebellion’ could not be fulfilled if the United States, as the world’s wealthiest, most powerful, and most influential country, were to experience a genuine ‘Spiritual Awakening’ at the End of the Age … In fact, the United States will become so irredeemably wicked and will accrue so much guilt for its actions, that God will destroy it utterly at the Beginning of the Tribulation Period, as the First-Fruits of His Destruction of all the nations of the world at the End of the Tribulation Period. • TRUMP. “There are many questions as to what exactly Trump will do in his second term, and how successful he will be in doing these things. What is certain is that Christians who believe that the United States is ‘God’s Chosen Nation’ and that Trump will save it have a Worldview that is squarely at odds with the Bible.’ Just as Democrats have made the United States more like Babylon the Great through Secularization and the enactment of an explicitly anti-Christian LGBTQ+ Agenda (among other things), the New Republican President will also make the United States look more like the prophesied Babylon the Great. CODA. As Professor Anderson wisely notes, we cannot at this point agree on all Eschatological points, and he does not yet believe Trump is the Antichrist (as do I), but his work is nearly ‘Prima Facie evidence of an American Babylon.’ From which, beloved, we are commanded by God Himself once again, to:

“Flee!”

For some this will mean actually leaving America to move to another, less Trump-Infected nation (should such nations exist). For most however, it simply means to have absolutely nothing to do with President Trump or his movements in the form of MAGA Christian Nationalism or more seditiously still, the QAnon Conspiracy cult.

It could not be clearer, beloved. Perhaps this essay can help your friends or family members who still follow hard after Trump will prayerfully open their eyes, as He graciously and powerfully did ours.
