COMMENTARY. “‘And I beheld Another Beast’ – Compare the notes on Revelation 13:1 [‘The First Beast’]. This was so distinct from the first that its characteristics could be described, though, as shown in the Analysis of the Chapter, ‘there was in many points a strong resemblance between them.’ The relations between the two will be more fully indicated in the notes.

‘Coming up out of the earth’ – Prof. [Moses] Stuart renders this, ‘Ascending from the land.’ The former was represented as ‘Rising up out of the sea’ Revelation 13:1; indicating that the power was to rise from a perturbed or unsettled state of affairs – like the Ocean. This, from what was more settled and stable – as the Land is more firm than the waters …

‘And he had two horns like a lamb’ – In some respects he resembled a lamb; that is, he seemed to be a mild, gentle, inoffensive animal … or laying claim to great meekness and humility, even when deposing kings, and giving away crowns, and driving thousands to the stake, or throwing them into the dungeons of the Inquisition.

1. THE MAN

Of the several biographies of ELON MUSK, I settled on one that was a rather tight overview of this unique individual that neither ground an axe toward him nor aggrandized him. An approach in both journalism and police work summarized in an old TV show from the 1970s, ‘Dragnet’ starring Jack Webb and Harry Morgan:

“Just the facts, Ma’am, just the facts.”

Taken, appropriately, from an online journal, Biography, in a piece by Editors TYLER PICCOTTI and CATHERINE CARUSO updated on October 26, 2026 (edited).

• WHO IS ELON MUSK. “Elon Musk is the Founder of SpaceX and Tesla Motors, among other companies. Their success has propelled him to become the richest person in the world, with a net worth greater than $924 billion [recently updated to be the first trillionaire in history]. The South African–born entrepreneur started his first businesses in the 1990s: an online city guide called Zip2 and a digital payment company named X.com, which later became PayPal. Musk, who became an American citizen in 2002, then moved into the transportation industry via his most recognizable companies. He diversified his holdings in 2022 by purchasing Twitter, which he renamed X. A vehement supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump, Musk was head of the Department of Government Efficiency, the headline-grabbing advisory group under Trump’s second administration, before announcing his departure in May 2025. • GROWING UP. “Elon Reeve Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa. His mother, Maye Musk, is a Canadian model and the oldest woman to star in a CoverGirl campaign. When Elon was growing up, she worked five jobs at one point to support her family. Elon’s father, Errol Musk, is a wealthy South African engineer. Elon spent his early childhood with his brother, Kimbal, and sister, Tosca, in South Africa. His parents divorced when he was 10. Around this time, Musk developed an interest in computers and taught himself how to program. When he was 12 years old, Musk developed his own game called Blastar that he sold for $500. He was often so lost in his ‘Daydreams about inventions’ that his parents and doctors ordered a test to check his hearing. The short, introverted, and bookish child was ‘Bullied until he was 15.’ By that point, he went through a growth spurt and learned how to defend himself with karate and wrestling. He has continued to practice martial arts as an adult. At age 17, in 1988, Elon moved to Canada against his parents’ wishes to attend university and avoid mandatory service in the South African military. He obtained his Canadian citizenship that year, in part because he felt it would be easier to obtain U.S. citizenship via that path. • EDUCATION. “Musk’s move to Canada coincided with his enrollment in Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He studied there for two years before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. He graduated five years later with Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics and Physics. Musk then headed to Stanford University to pursue a doctorate in energy physics. However, his relocation to California was timed perfectly with the internet boom, and he dropped out of Stanford after just two days in favor of joining the rising ‘Tech Wave.’”

• INVENTIONS. Through SpaceX and Tesla, Musk has achieved notable advancements in sustainable space exploration as well as driverless transportation with the research and launch of Full Self-Driving software. Musk has brought this ‘Pioneering Spirit’ to other ventures but with mixed results. Among the inventions Musk has spent the most time and money to research are a new high-speed public transportation system and biological software connectivity.”

• HYPERLOOP. In August 2013, Musk released a concept for a new form of transportation called the “Hyperloop” that would would propel riders in pods through a network of low-pressure tubes at speeds reaching more than 700 mph. He proposed the transit system be built between San Francisco and Los Angeles, an endeavor that the inventor noted could take from seven to 10 years to be built and ready for use. He suggested the Hyperloop run on renewable energy. Passing off the concept to fellow entrepreneurs, a startup formed to pursue the Hyperloop in 2014. For a time, it was owned by British entrepreneur Richard Branson, but by December 2023, [Michael] Bloomberg reported the company began to sell off its assets and lay off remaining employees.”

• NEURALINK. “‘In 2017, it was reported that Musk was backing a venture called Neuralink, which intended to create devices to be implanted in the human brain and help people merge with software.’ Its devices consist of a microscopic chip that connects via Bluetooth to a smartphone or computer. Concerns over the project arose in 2023, when veterinary records reportedly showed that monkeys receiving the implant in tests suffered ‘debilitating health defects’ including paralysis and brain swelling. Musk downplayed any risks, saying that only ‘terminal’ monkeys received the implant and that none had died from the experiments.”

• RELIGION & POLITICS. “Although long considered an Atheist, Musk said in 2024 he considers himself a ‘CULTURAL CHRISTIAN’ and believes in the teachings of Jesus Christ—even though he might not follow all tenets of the Faith. ‘I do believe that the Teachings of Jesus are good and wise,’ he said in an interview with psychologist and podcast host Jordan Peterson. ‘This NOTABLE SHIFT has coincided with Musk’s growing support of Conservative Political Causes.’ He criticized lockdowns during the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020 and has used social media to amplify his beliefs related to free speech. According to PBS, he has shared memes and sometimes misinformation on X about topics such as Illegal Immigration, alleged U.S. election fraud, and Transgender Policies. In broader terms, the boundless potential of Space Explorationand the preservation of the future of the human race have become the Cornerstones of Musk’s abiding interests, and toward these, he has founded the Musk Foundation, which is dedicated to Space Exploration and the discovery of renewable and clean energy sources. In October 2019, Musk pledged to donate $1 million to the #TeamTrees campaign, which aims to plant 20 million trees around the world by 2020. He even changed his Twitter name to Treelon for the occasion. ‘Musk has also been vocal about his concerns over a looming world population collapse caused by lower birth rates, calling it a “Bigger risk to civilization than Global Warming.”’

• STARLINK. “Starlink Services, LLC is a Telecommunications subsidiary of the American spaceflight company SpaceX providing broadband Internet service in approximately 160 countries [of 195] and territories. It also aims to provide global mobile broadband SpaceX began launching Starlink satellites in 2019. As of June 2026, the Network consisted of approximately 10,413 satellites (10,397 operational) in low Earth orbit (LEO) that communicate with user terminals and gateway ground stations –  ‘Connecting the constellation to terrestrial internet infrastructure.’ Starlink also provides in-flight internet access for numerous airlines. • NET WORTH. “‘Elon Musk is the richest person in the world, a title he has held at various points since early 2021.’ He regularly swaps spots with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and French businessman Bernard Arnault, who is the founder and CEO of luxury goods conglomerate LVMH.According to Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires List, Musk is worth $981 billion as of October 5, 2026. Bloomberg’s estimate is slightly lower, totaling Musk’s fortune at $977 billion. Because much of his net worth is tied up in stock, Musk’s wealth is highly variable. He briefly became the World’s First Trillionaire on June 12, 2026 following SpaceX’s IPO, though he lost this status just two weeks later after both SpaceX and Tesla shares dropped” [but recently rose again requalifying him as the world’s only Trillionaire].

IN SUM. In point of fact: Second only to President DONALD TRUMP, ELON MUSK is the most powerful man on the earth. Coupled with Trump, these two individuals, even without supernatural assistance from Satan’s Kingdom, are very nearly an IMPENETRABLE FORCE against any opposition from the World.

Think on that as we proceed to the third element of this Introduction to Elon Musk as the lead candidate for the position of THE FALSE PROPHET of Revelation 13.  

1. THE DARK SIDE

‘Elon Musk has been a highly polarizing figure, and the actions most frequently criticized as his “DARKEST SPAN” geopolitical intervention, controversial government overhauls, the weaponization of his platforms, and severe workplace allegations.’ – AI OVERVIEW, Oct. 20, 2026; edited

1. Disrupting Military Operations and Starlink Outages. Critics view Musk’s unilateral control over Global Satellite Infrastructure as highly dangerous. ‘In October 2026, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy publicly accused SpaceX of blocking Starlink defense capabilities.’ The service outage severely impacted Ukraine’s frontline operations, prompting intense backlash and escalating calls from journalists and defense experts for the U.S. government to nationalize SpaceX.

• The Dismantling of Foreign Aid (DOGE). During his tenure leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) until mid-2025, Musk spearheaded aggressive Federal spending cuts. Congressional Democrats and human rights organizations have strongly condemned his “Cruel Dismantling” of USAID. Human rights estimates suggest that eliminating critical international disease and starvation programs resulted in devastating consequences overseas. ‘In late 2026, House Committees launched extensive investigations into Musk and DOGE for potential Lawlessness and Mass Civil Servant Retaliation.’

• Escalating Disinformation and Far-Right Rhetoric. Following his acquisition of Twitter (now X), Musk has been accused of amplifying dangerous Conspiracy Theories and fringe elements.

• Deepfake Litigation: In mid-2026, his AI company sparked outrage by suing the state of Minnesota to block a law intended to protect citizens against nonconsensual sexual deepfakes.

• Direct Character Defamation and Baseless Claims.Musk has a documented history of baselessly accusing critics and political adversaries of the worst possible crimes.

• He infamously used the term “Pedo Guy” to defame a British cave diver who helped rescue a trapped Thai soccer team in 2018, later hiring a private investigator to dig up dirt on him.

• Following his bitter 2025 fallout with Donald Trump over federal spending bills, Musk retaliated by publicly insinuating on social media that “Trump was a pedophile” associated with the Jeffrey Epstein files.

• Toxic Workplace Cultures and Harassment. Musk’s companies have faced severe legal and civil penalties regarding how they treat employees.

• Severe Racial Harassment: Tesla was hit with a massive multi-million dollar judgment after courts found the company turned a blind eye to pervasive racial slurs and a hostile, segregated environment for Black factory workers.

• Whistleblower Retaliation: Former employees across Tesla and SpaceX have accused Musk of: ‘Aggressive Retaliation, Unlawful Firings, and Tracking Down Whistleblowers’ who attempted to report safety violations or manufacturing flaws.

1. THE DARKER SIDE.

Elon Musk‘s public relationship with a ‘DARK SPIRITUALITY’ in 2026 centers on a blend of Rationalist Futurism, Cultural Christianity, and Techno-Deterministic Power rather than a traditional Orthodox Faith framework

• Belief in a Creator: Musk has explicitly stated, “God is the Creator,” and affirmed that the Universe comes from an intentional, fine-tuned Order rather than existing by complete accident.

• Cultural Christianity: He has repeatedly described himself as a “Cultural Christian” who agrees with and respects the moral teachings of Jesus Christ, while clarifying that he is not traditionally or deeply religious in a conventional dogmatic sense.

• The Grok AI Controversy: His AI platform, Grok, stirred cultural debate by identifying Jesus as distinct from mythological or “fake” gods based on historical analysis, drawing both praise and skepticism regarding how Musk’s personal philosophy influences his tech tools.

• Techno-Messianism vs. Accountability: Critics and documentary projects (such as Alex Gibney’s 2026 examinations of his influence) frame Musk not through traditional spiritual sin, but as: ‘A chaotic, unchecked “Techno-Messiah” whose pursuit of multi-planetary survival and digital dominance operates above standard human ethics.’

• Psychedelics and “Portals”: Musk has openly discussed the use of psychedelic substances like ayahuasca or ketamine/LSD-adjacent frameworks under the guise of mental health or expanding perspective. Critics and theological commentators argue these practices function as a ‘Counterfeit or risky spiritual engagement’—seeking cosmic downloads, hyper-intelligent geometric patterns, or “forbidden knowledge” outside of traditional moral accountability or redemption.

• Unchecked Power and Data Access: Observers raise severe alarm over his consolidation of massive Infrastructural Power (satellites, social media algorithms via X, and deep integration with Federal Data Systems), viewing his ambition as: ‘A secularized, near-Gnostic drive to Rewrite Human Civilization with zero institutional or spiritual checks. AND DARKER STILL! “Burning Man” is a week-long large-scale desert event focused on “Community, Art, Self-Expression, and Self-Reliance” held annually in the Western United States. The event’s name comes from its Ceremony on the second to last night of the event: The symbolic burning of a large wooden effigy, built every year for the event and referred to as “The Man,” the Saturday evening before Labor Day. Since 1990, the event has been at Black Rock City in northwestern Nevada, a temporary city erected in the Black Rock Desert about 100 miles (160 km) north-northeast of Reno.

According to Burning Man co-founder Larry Harvey in 2004, the event is guided by TEN PRINCIPLES: “Radical Inclusion, Gifting, Decommodification, Radical Self-Reliance, Radical Self-Expression, Communal Effort, Civic Responsibility, leaving no trace, participation, and immediacy.”

Though it is difficult to prove any DEMONIC PRESENCE, there is an impressive body of professional and theological literature available to argue for that position. In addition to the activities that take place at Burning Man, including open, free sex orgies for those willing and “qualified” to participate.

Internationally acclaimed Christian journalist ALEX NEWMAN summarizes its great danger in a SUMMARY at the beginning of his article, “Burning Man, Big Tech, Paganism, and Your Future” (The New American, vol. 42, no. 11, Nov. 1, 2026; edited).

“BURNING MAN is not just a music or arts festival in the desert, though it has those elements.  It also is not just a haunt for Paganism and Perversion, though it is that, too. ‘It is a Model for the Post-Christian New World Order the Elites intend to create. It must be taken seriously because of the rich and powerful who embrace it.’”

• ELON MUSK (Tesla / SpaceX): Has attended Burning Man multiple times and has described the Annual Desert Event as a core part of Silicon Valley Culture, once stating, “If you haven’t been, you just don’t get it.” Over the years, he has been spotted or reported driving art cars, climbing structures, and commenting publicly on The Festival.

• MARK ZUCKERBERG (Meta): Famously arrived by private helicopter in 2013 to serve grilled cheese sandwiches to fellow attendees.

• SERGEY BRIN & LARRY PAGE (Google Co-founders): Longtime attendees who famously scouted and evaluated former Google CEO Eric Schmidt during the early stages of the formation and launch of Google’s mega-corporation in 1998.  

• SAM ALTMAN (OpenAI): Initially skeptical of the festival as “ridiculous escapism,” he later attended multiple times, noting it shaped his vision for post-AGI society.

• DUSTIN MOSKOVICH (Facebook / Asana Co-founder): A staunch defender of billionaires attending the event, pushing back against claims that wealthy tech figures ruin its counterculture ethos

• JEFF BEZOS (Amazon): Has attended the gathering since the late 1990s.

• GARRETT CAMP (Uber Co-founder): Reported to have attended the festival over a dozen times.

DK SUMMARY.  Concurrently, Elon Trump’s ALLIANCE with Donald Trump and the most powerful tech giants in the world figure powerfully in Future Global Politics.

Ultimately, the literature characterizes Musk as a high-stakes, largely unpredictable “DISRUPTIVE VISIONARY” who aggressively accelerates ‘Superhumanism’ [Nietzsche’s idea of ‘Übermensch’ or “Superman” in Thus Spoke Zarathustra, 1883], through AI technology and space exploration.

‘All in the undeniably mad pursuit of a NEW WORLD ORDER here on the Earth, followed by a NEW HUMAN ERA to colonize and populate a possibly terraformed Planet Mars.’
