QUOTATIONS

WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE. “‘Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And Summer’s lease hath all too short a date.’ Sometime too hot the Eye of Heaven shines, And oft’ is His gold complexion dimm’d; And every fair from fair sometime declines, By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d. But Thy Eternal Summer shall not fade Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest.” – “Shall I Compare Thee to a Summer’s Day,’ Sonnet 18, 1609; edited

PAUL THE APOSTLE I. “But I say this, believers: ‘the time has been shortened,’ so that from now on even those who have wives should be as though they did not; and those who weep, as though they did not weep; and those who rejoice, as though they did not rejoice; and those who buy, as though they did not possess [anything]; and those who use the world [taking advantage of its opportunities], as though they did not make full use of it. For the outward form of this world [its present social and material nature] is passing away.” ― 1 CORINTHIANS 7:29-31, AMP, 53-54 AD

I. FIRST THOUGHTS

Some of you may remember AESOP’S FABLES from when you were a child. One of them bears most powerfully upon our subject matter today: “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.” This group of ancient tales, or the Aesopica, is a collection of fables credited to Aesop, a slave and storyteller who lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 564 BC.

So first permit me to cite The Fable in full, as a launchpad for what I believe to be one of our most important discussions.

“There once was a shepherd boy who was bored as he sat on the hillside watching the village sheep. To amuse himself he took a great breath and sang out, ‘Wolf! Wolf! The Wolf is chasing the sheep!’

The villagers came running up the hill to help the boy drive the wolf away. But when they arrived at the top of the hill, they found no wolf. The boy laughed at the sight of their angry faces.

‘Don’t cry “wolf,” shepherd boy,’ said the villagers, ‘when there’s no wolf!’ They went grumbling back down the hill.

Later, the boy sang out again, ‘Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is chasing the sheep!’ To his naughty delight, he watched the villagers run up the hill to help him drive the wolf away.

When the villagers saw no wolf, they sternly said, ‘Save your frightened song for when there is really something wrong! Don’t cry “wolf” when there is NO wolf!’

But the boy just grinned and watched them go grumbling down the hill once more.

Later, he saw a REAL wolf prowling about his flock. Alarmed, he leaped to his feet and sang out as loudly as he could, ‘Wolf! Wolf!’

But the villagers thought he was trying to fool them again, and so they didn’t come.

At sunset, everyone wondered why the shepherd boy hadn’t returned to the village with their sheep. They went up the hill to find the boy. They found him weeping.

‘There really was a wolf here! The flock has scattered! I cried out, “Wolf!” Why didn’t you come?’

An old man tried to comfort the boy as they walked back to the village.

‘We’ll help you look for the lost sheep in the morning,’ he said, putting his arm around the youth, ‘Nobody believes a liar…even when he is telling the truth!’”

THE CHURCH & AESOP. I must have been in my early 30s as a non-Christian when my newly saved Mom gave me a book, a best seller by HAL LINDSEY entitled, ‘The Late Great Planet Earth’ (1970).

What followed the publication of that bestseller for at least the next 40 years or so in America was a near frenzy among Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christians over just when Jesus Christ was going to Return to gather up His followers in the clouds, and rain horrific Judgments on the earth.

But then something stunning began to take place in the 1990s as the Church started waxing quieter about the Lord’s Return, preferring instead to concentrate on worldly matters of local and national politics. Specifically, several analysts tell us that the election of Barak Obama in 2008 was met with horror among many White Christian voters, so they decided they had to do something about it.

I will let you ponder the motives, though here is one possibility from journalist JAMELLE BOUIE, writing for Slate magazine on March 13, 2016, in a piece entitled, “How Trump Happened.”

“‘The election of the country’s first black president had the ironic upshot of opening the door for Old-fashioned Racism to influence partisan preferences after it was long thought to be a spent force in American politics,’ wrote Brown University political scientist MICHAEL TESLER in [2013] … For Tesler, ‘Old-fashioned Racism’ isn’t a rhetorical term; it refers to specific beliefs about the biological and cultural inferiority of Black Americans. His work suggests that there are [a substantial number of] White Americans who, in his words, have ‘concerns about the leadership of a president from a racial group whom they consider to be intellectually and socially inferior.’”

The long and the short of it: The Church had been hearing about Christ’s Second Coming for decades, but ultimately was seen as a ‘No Show.’ Their reasoning was that as they were gazing skyward, ‘an infidel’ had taken the reins of power. So did the White Church, gradually at first, then massively, band together to insure it would not happen again.

ENTER DONALD TRUMP. And the rest, as they say, is History being writ large and ludicrous, some seven years after Mr. Bouie assured us that: “The good news is that movements like Trump’s tend to fade away.” Oh, my yes, don’t they now?

II. CHURCH SHIFT TO EARTHLY POWER

While grinding out a roughly biblical and historically accurate Christian Worldview on matters of American culture and politics at Regent University in the 1980s, I was happily cutting my teeth on authors like Francis Schaeffer, Charles Colson, and Carl F.H. Henry.

Then in the 1990s I was introduced to an entirely new system of ‘Christian’ Ideas.

DOMINION THEOLOGY. Law professor and mentor Herbert Titus led me to read the Reconstructionism of ROUSAS RUSHDOONY, while professor and author of Defending the Declaration (1996) Gary Amos likewise pointed me to the Theonomy of GARY NORTH and GREG BAHNSEN. Regent University literally engaged a vicious lawsuit with Pat Robertson in those days over both tenure revocation and the introduction of these Dominionists, in which I was shamefully part to at the behest of Mr. Titus.

While the Reconstructionists and Theonomists have largely faded from widespread public embrace in recent years, they have found new life in the Charismatic, Pentecostal and some Evangelical churches in the preposterous, populist heresies of LANCE WALLNAU.

Here is one largely objective summary of his False Doctrines, enthusiastically followed by tens of millions of American Christians to this very day.

“The Movement is believed by its followers to have begun in 1975 with a purported message from God delivered to Evangelicals LOREN CUNNINGHAM, BILL BRIGHT, and FRANCIS SCHAEFFER, ordering them to: ‘Invade the ‘Seven Spheres’ of society!’… The Movement came to prominence after the 2013 publication of LANCE WALLNAU AND BILL JOHNSON’S ‘Invading Babylon: The 7 Mountain Mandate.’

The Movement was generally supportive of the presidency of DONALD TRUMP with member PAULA WHITE becoming the president’s spiritual advisor. White claimed that Trump ‘will play a critical role in Armageddon as the United States stands alongside Israel in the battle against Islam.’ In 2020 CHARLIE KIRK said, ‘Finally we have a president that understands the Seven Mountains of cultural influence’ during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

The Seven Mountain Mandate is part of Dominionism. Followers claim that the biblical base for the Movement is derived from Revelation 17:118, wherein verse 9 reads, “And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains.” The Seven Areas which the Movement believe control society and which they seek to control are Family, Religion, Education, Media, Entertainment, Business, and Government.

They believe that their ‘Mission to take over the world’ is justified by Isaiah 2:2‘Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains.’ Followers believe that by fulfilling the Seven Mountain Mandate they can bring about the End Times.” – EDITORS, Wikipedia, Apr. 25, 2023; edited

DK. So it was that the Church began increasingly to fall in love with Dominionism and Donald Trump,’ while simultaneously falling out of love with Christ’s Second Advent. Tragically, we began to witness the instigation of the greatest FALLING AWAY from Christian Canonical Orthodoxy in the history of the American Church. Perhaps in the entire history of the world.

That is how serious a Doctrinal and Political Crisis we now face, beloved.

PORTENTS. So here a reasonably current Political Calculus as it impacts the Church and the Nation, and indeed the entire Community of Nations worldwide. For it, I turn to respected politics and finance investigative journalist PETER STONE, who writes for a number of leading publications. This recent piece in The Guardian is entitled, “Pro-Trump Pastors Rebuked for ‘Overt Embrace of White Christian Nationalism’” (May 1, 2023; edited).

Brace yourselves for some heavy spiritual and ideological sledding.

“A far-right religious group with ties to Donald Trump loyalists ROGER STONE and retired Army Lt. General MICHAEL FLYNN is planning events with Pastors in swing-state churches in Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere to spur more Evangelical backing for the former US president’s 2024 campaign.

[But according to AMANDA TYLER, executive director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty], ‘Tragically, far too many Pastors have confused political power with religious authority, and have thrown their lot in with Trump, no matter the cost to their ministry. ‘PASTORS FOR TRUMP’is the next step in this unholy alliance, mixing Christian Nationalism, election lies and vitriolic language in a gross distortion of Christianity … Most clergy avoid endorsing political candidates, even in their personal capacity, because they know the polarizing impact it would have on their congregations and the distractions it would cause from their calling and the mission of the Church.’

Similarly, [ADAM RUSSELL] TAYLOR of Sojourners says ‘Pastors for Trump is particularly worrisome. This is further evidence that the threat of muscular White Christian Nationalism is real and needs to be counteracted.’”

DK. Beloved, these are precisely the sorts of dark machinations that occurred at the center of Hitler’s rise to power in what would become Nazi Germany in the late 1920s and 30s a century ago. As BENJAMIN ROBERTSON wrote as American Harbinger in his master’s thesis in American History:

“After Trump incited an Insurrection that led to the storming of the United States Capitol [January 6, 2021], many scholars began to change their position and claimed that this moment of aggression ‘defined [Trump] as a Fascist leader’” (Comparative Fascism: Adolf Hitler and Donald Trump,Fall 2021; edited).

And what is the overwhelming majority of the Evangelical, Charismatic and Pentecostal community doing about it? Nothing! Had I the time and space, I could cite dozens more articles verifying that devastating state of this Religious Core of our Nation, summed up in a single word shouted by ELLIE WIESEL’S riveting novel, ‘Night’ (1960):

Indifference!

III. THE TEACHING

SCRIPTURE. “Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.” – ZEPHANIAH 2:3, NKJV

KEY TERMS. As is our practice that we can now to a deep structure consideration each of the Central Ideas that define the doctrine under review, followed by a theological commentary.

  • SEEK. ‘Baqash’ [בָּקַשׁ]: “To search in order to find or secure; seek the face of; to ask, beg, beseech, [intensely] desire; to make inquisition, procure, require; to demand [as with an aggressive pursuit of God and Truth]; to inquire for; to ask for; to solicit; to endeavor to find or gain by any means.”
  • MEEK. ‘Anav’ [עָנָו]: “The poor, weak needy and afflicted, oppressed by the rich and powerful; refers to ‘the saintly’ who are depressed of mind or circumstance [undergoing deprivation or suffering for righteousness]; humble, in an Evangelical sense; submissive to the Divine will; not proud, self-sufficient or refractory; not peevish nor apt to complain of Divine dispensations.”
  • UPHELD. ‘Paal’ [פָעַל]: “To do, make or act [as with a workman doing his due diligence]; to systematically and habitually commit [to a right way]; to ordain; to practice [as a life pattern]; to support; to sustain; to keep from falling or slipping; e.g., Honor shall uphold the humble in spirit’ (Proverbs 29:23).”
  • HIDDEN. ‘Sathar’ [סָתַר]: “To be hid or concealed; to cover; to escape a judgment; to be sheltered; to be absent [from harm by being close to God]; kept secret; to avoid shame; to conceal; to withhold or withdraw from sight; to place in any state or position in which the view is intercepted from the object … Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man’ (Luke 21:36).
  • ANGER. ‘Aph’ [אַף]: “From a root word meaning ‘to breathe hard through the nostrils, be enraged;’ indication of Divine Wrath; implies the appearance of God’s countenance in full outrage; a violent passion of the mind excited by a real or supposed injury; usually accompanied with a propensity to take vengeance, or to obtain satisfaction from the offending party; violent anger; vehement exasperation; [supreme] indignation.”

COMMENTARY. “‘Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek’ — Here the Prophet addresses some others, different from those addressed before, namely, the few pious’ [the Remnant], who still remained in Jerusalem and Judah amidst the general corruption; ‘which have wrought [upheld] His judgment’ — Who have obeyed His Laws and done His Will. ‘Seek righteousness’ — That is, continue to seek it; persevere in the practice of every branch of piety and virtue. ‘Seek meekness’ — Patiently wait on the holy and gracious God. ‘It may be ye shall be hid,’ &c. — That ye shall be protected and preserved by the Divine Providence, amidst the dangers and calamities of that dreadful time, when God shall execute His [Final] Judgments.” – JOSEPH BENSON, Notes on the Holy Bible, 5 vols., 1811-1818; edited

Now permit me to bring all this up to date with a fine point focus upon what I believe this passage specifically refers to. It is indeed a reference to Jesus Christ ripping open The Last [Sixth] Seal of the Birth Pangs described in Revelation Chapter 6. This the very Thesis of my book, ‘The Sixth Seal II: A Pre-Wrath Commentary Redux on the Rise of Trump Nationalism and the Decline of the American Order’ (August 2023).

“I [John] looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’” – REVELATION 6:12-17, NKJV

This is the EPOCHAL MOMENT in all of human history when the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit converge to explode upon the earth their pent-up Rage stored in Divine Annals for thousands of years.

THREE EVENTS. This Moment simultaneously signals three explosive occurrences on planet earth. I cull the theology underlying each Mega-Event from the Editorial Staff of the well-regarded online journal, Got Questions (ret. May 21, 2023; edited).

  • END OF THE CHURCH AGE. “The Church Age is the period of time from Pentecost (Acts 2) to the Rapture (foretold in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). It is called the Church Age because it covers the period in which the Church is on earth. It corresponds with the Dispensation of Grace. In prophetic history, it falls between the 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel (Daniel 9:24-27Romans 11) …‘The Church Age will end when God’s people are Raptured out of the world and taken to be with the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:51-57) … Until then, the Church carries on in hope, exhorted to: ‘Stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain’ (1 Corinthians 15:58).”
  • RAPTURE OF THE REMNANT CHURCH. “The Rapture of the [Remnant] Church is the Event in which God ‘snatches away’ all [true] believers from the earth in order to make way for His Righteous Judgment to be poured out on the earth during the [7-year] Tribulation Period. The Rapture is described primarily in 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50–54 … The Rapture will involve an instantaneous transformation of our bodies to fit us for Eternity. ‘We know that when He [Christ] appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is’ (1 John 3:2). The Rapture is to be distinguished from the Second Coming. At the Rapture, the Lord comes ‘in the clouds’ to meet us ‘in the air’ (1 Thessalonians 4:17). At the Second Coming, the Lord descends all the way to the earth to stand on the Mount of Olives, resulting in a Great Earthquake followed by a defeat of God’s enemies (Zechariah 14:3–4).”
  • THE 7-YEAR TRIBULATION. “Throughout Scripture, the Tribulation is associated with the Day of the Lord,’ that time during which God personally intervenes in history to accomplish His Plan (see Isaiah 2:1213:6–9Joel 1:152:1–313:141 Thessalonians 5:2). It is referred to as ‘Tribulation … in the latter days); the Great Tribulation, which refers to the more intense second half of the seven-year period (Matthew 24:21); ‘a time of distress’ (Daniel 12:1); and ‘the Time of Jacob’s Trouble’ (Jeremiah 30:7). And we have this description of the Tribulation that attends the Day of the Lord: ‘That Day will be a Day of wrath— a Day of distress and anguish, a Day of trouble and ruin, a Day of darkness and gloom, a Day of clouds and blackness— a Day of trumpet and battle cry’ (Zephaniah 1:15–16) … Daniel 9:27 gives a few highlights of the final week, the Seven-Year Tribulation period: “[A Ruler] will confirm a Covenant with many for one ‘Seven.’ In the middle of the ‘Seven,’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the Temple, he will set up an ‘Abomination that causes Desolation,’ until the End that is decreed is poured out on him.”

DK. What I most appreciate from the Review by Got Questions is: (a) They were closely attentive to theology for each main point; and (b) They got the Sequence of Events right: End of the Church Age, then the Rapture of the True Church, followed by the explosion of God’s Wrath and the start of The Tribulation Era of seven years.

IV. CLARIFICATION OF PRE-WRATH ESCHATOLOGY

This doctrinal position described in that last section I refer to as the Pre-Wrath View.’ It is based on a number of Scriptures from both the Old and New Testaments along with the views of the Early Church Fathers, before the writings of ORIGEN and AUGUSTINE and later distortions by JOHN CALVIN began to seriously cloud the theological waters about End Times in general, and the Rapture of the Church specifically.

So once again we retreat to the only safe haven: The Original Text.

“But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

‘For God did not appoint us to wrath,’ but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.” – 1 THESSALONIANS 5:1-11, NKJV

To further dispel the theological myth that it was JOHN NELSON DARBY who somehow invented the Pre-Wrath idea that the Church is removed before the cataclysm of the Great Tribulation, please consider the following review.

THE EARLY CHURCH. “IRANAEUS of Lyon (120-202) was a Pre-Tribulationist [and thus by extension, a Pre-Wrath believer]. Irenaeus was a disciple of POLYCARP (who was a disciple of the Apostle JOHN) and articulated his eschatological views in ‘Against Heresies,’ Book 5. First, he referred to Enoch’s translation and Elijah’s being ‘caught up’ as previews of the Rapture. ‘For Enoch, when he pleased God, was translated in the same body in which he did please Him, thus pointing out by anticipation the translation of the just. Elijah, too, was caught up [when he was yet] in the substance of the [natural] form; thus exhibiting in Prophecy the assumption of those who are spiritual, and that nothing stood in the way of their body being translated and caught up.’ Second, Irenaeus refers to the Church’s being ‘caught up’ before the Tribulation [i.e., God’s Wrath] …

Admittedly, the influence of Origen and Augustine was successful in turning the Established Church to [an allegorical] belief in ‘Amillenialism’ by around the fifth century. This view would dominate the Medieval period, with little-known exceptions.” – DAVID PETTERSON, “The Rapture: A Pre-Darby Rapture,” Truth & Tidings, July 2020; edited

PRE-WRATH CODICIL. Now I want to make inarguably clear that my position is substantially, even radically different from earlier definitions of “Pre-Wrath” proposed by MARVIN ROSENTHAL (1990) who proposed, somewhat inexplicably, that the Church will be removed from the earth by the Rapture just before the fourth quarter of the 70th Week of Daniel. Respectfully, there is not a stitch of Orthodox Doctrine that supports such an outlandish claim. A second misled theological adventure was proposed by ROBERT VAN KAMPEN (1997) who just as serendipitously argued that the persecution by Antichrist during the Great Tribulation will be the wrath of Satan, not the Wrath of God.

Again, for either of these authors to so boldly contravene thousands of years of sound doctrine and orthodox theology that indisputably describe the Seven Year Tribulation as God’s Wrath is spiritual rebellion amounting to heresy. Good heavens, Revelation 6:17 in the Amplified Classic Edition speaks it incontrovertibly:

“For the ‘great day of His wrath (vengeance, retribution, indignation)’ has come, and who is able to stand before it?”

More than two millennia of Biblical exegesis and extensive commentary have established beyond a shadow of any rational doubt that ‘God’s Wrath is synonymous with Daniels 70th Week.’ Period. Full Stop. End of debate!

V. LAST THOUGHTS

EVEN THE REMNANT. I am reminded, beloved, that those of us who strive toward ‘remaining with Christ’ as part of His Last Days Remnant can also stumble – by pride or complacency or dangerous presumption. PAUL THE APOSTLE was emphatic about this point.

“Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], ‘take care’ [have spiritual sight] that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation] … For this reason [that is, because of God’s final revelation in His Son Jesus and because of Jesus’ superiority to the angels] we must pay much closer attention than ever to the things that we have heard, so that we do not [in any way] drift away from truth.” – 1 CORINTHIANS 10:12; HEBREWS 2:1, AMP

I close this admittedly severe Commentary with one even more direct from, once again, CHARLES ELLICOTT. This one is aimed squarely at The Righteous Remnant, as none of us are beneath being dragged off into This Present Darkness, beloved.

“Christians, called forth from a more deadly bondage into a more glorious liberty, are in like peril. Let the one who thinks that he stands secure take great heed, lest he fall! The murmuring against their Apostolic teachers, the longing to go so far as they could in indulgence without committing actual sin, were terribly significant indications in the Corinthian Church. ‘When we feel ourselves beginning to dislike those who warn us against sin … then let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.’” An Old and New Testament Commentary for English Readers, 1878, 1897; edited

THE AMERICAN CHURCH – AGAIN. By every objective assessment, the vast majority of our Evangelical Churches, especially the Mega-Pulpits, avoid teaching on sin as if were the Plague of Egypt. After all, “Once Saved Always Saved,” right? Wrong! Listen to JOHN PIPER eviscerate such dangerous error.

“I think [such a] church is profoundly defective … So, I conclude that a church that fails to name sins — denounce them, call for repentance — puts human wisdom above Divine Wisdom by ignoring the way the Prophets, Jesus, and the Apostles preached, and by failing to grasp how sanctification in the Bible really works: How the Cross, the new birth, the fruit of the Holy Spirit actually conquer sin through God’s command for us to kill it.” – “My Pastors Don’t Preach Against Sin – Is that Okay?” Desiring God, June 1, 2020; edited

I tell you in the authority of The Word of a Holy God my dear friends, that The Day is racing toward us at the speed of a shot from a Divine Cannon. Neither shall it be put off much longer. The great Prophet describes it perhaps best.

“Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand; as destruction from the Almighty and Sufficient One [Shaddai] will it come! Therefore will all hands be feeble, and every man’s heart will melt.

And they [of Babylon] shall be dismayed and terrified, pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman in childbirth. They will gaze stupefied and aghast at one another, their faces will be aflame [from the effects of the unprecedented warfare].

Behold, the day of the Lord is coming! — fierce, with wrath and raging anger—to make the land and the [whole] earth a desolation and to destroy out of it its sinners.” – ISAIAH 13:6-9, AMPC

FINAL WORD. Should America continue to become Babylon rather than a New Jerusalem, we ought all of us tremble before the soon coming Angers of the Lord God of Hosts, whose Day of Visitation thunders its way toward us all.

The Apostle Paul severely warned the Church at Ephesus to heed a Single Charge to the Church of the Last Hour long ago that would ensure Eternity for any of us: “And having done all, TO STAND!”
