THE ALTAR CALL: LAST INVITATIONS REDUX TO MAGA PRODIGALS WHILE IT IS STILL DAY (WITH VIDEO)

AN INTRODUCTION. For the many Newcomers to these platforms, a very brief profile of me, DR. CLIFF KELLY, Digital Circuit Rider, Founder and Professor for the Peloton Confessing Fellowship (est. March 2020).

1. THEOLOGY

SCRIPTURE. “Wait and listen, everyone who is thirsty! COME to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the SELF-SURRENDER that accepts the blessing] …

SEEK, inquire for, and require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, and mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon.” – ISAIAH 55:1, 6-7, AMPC

KEY TERMS.

“COME!” ‘Yalak’ [יָלַךְ]: “To go, walk, come, depart, proceed, move, go away.” NOTE: “Although the exact form יָלַךְ (‘yalak,’ Strong’s 3212) does not appear in the extant Hebrew text, its root idea—‘Going, Walking, Journeying’—permeates Scripture through related forms (most commonly הָלַךְ, ‘halak’). Because the Bible repeatedly frames life with God around ‘WALKING [A ROAD],’ this verbal root carries enduring weight for Covenant History, Prophetic Proclamation, Wisdom Instruction, and New Testament Discipleship.”

“SEEK!” ‘Darash’ [דִּרְשׁ֥וּ]: “To tread or frequent; to diligently follow; to inquire or require.” NOTE: “Strong’s Hebrew 1875, דָּרַשׁ, threads the Old Testament with the idea of ‘SEEKING’ in its richest sense—Intent, Inquiry, Investigation, Dependence, Worship, even Judicial Pursuit.’ The verb can be Cognitive (‘to inquire’), Volitional (‘to seek earnestly’), or Forensic (‘to require an account’). Each nuance reinforces that the God of Israel is Personal, Knowable, and Willing to be found while also being the One who calls every deed to account.”

QUOTATION. “‘But to enjoy Him we must KNOW Him.’ Seeing is savoring. If He remains a blurry, vague fog, we may be intrigued for a season. ‘But we will not be ‘Stunned with Joy,’ as when the Fog clears and you find yourself on the brink of some vast Precipice.’” ― DR. COMMENTARY. “‘Ho, every one!’ — Not only Jews, but Gentiles; ‘that thirsteth’ — For the Grace of God, and the Blessings of the Gospel; that desires them sincerely and earnestly, is active and diligent in the pursuit of them, and cannot be satisfied without enjoying them. ‘Come ye to the waters!’ — Where you may drink and be refreshed: Come and partake of the Graces and Comforts of God’s Spirit, frequently compared to water in the Scriptures, and here designed by the other metaphorical expressions which occur in the next clause. 

‘And he that hath no money’ — Even those who are most poor in the world, and those who are most worthless and wicked, if they do but thirst, shall be welcome. ‘Come ye, buy and eat’ —That is, come and receive that which is freely offered to you, and which you shall as freely partake of, and enjoy as your own, as if you had bought and paid the full price for it. ‘Buy wine and milk’ —Here put for all sorts of provisions, which are also to be understood of Spiritual and Gospel Blessings, as is evident from the following words: As if He had said: ‘These blessings shall not only Refresh you, as water refreshes the thirsty, but they shall Cheer you like wine, and Nourish you like milk!’”

‘Seek ye the Lord,’ &c. — Having discoursed of the office and work of Christ and showed that He should call People and Nations to Himself and to God, the Prophet now endeavours to persuade the people to hearken to His call, and to ‘SEEK THE LORD!’ ‘That is, to Labour to get the Knowledge of God’s Will, and to obtain His Grace and Favour, neither of which could be obtained save in and through Christ.’ And this exhortation is general, like that Isaiah 55:1, intended for all nations, both Jews and Gentiles, implying that both of them had lost the Favour and Knowledge of God, and were gone astray from Him. ‘While he may [STILL] be found’ — In this Day of Grace, while He offers Mercy and Reconciliation, which He will NOT always do: See Proverbs 1:24, &c.; Luke 19:44; 2 Corinthians 6:2.” – JOSEPH BENSON, Notes on the Holy Bible, 5 vols., 1811-1818; edited

II. TEACHING

Turning and turning in the widening gyre, the falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the Centre cannot hold; Mere Anarchy is loosed upon the world. The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere the Ceremony of Innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity.

THE YEAR 2026. To set our Context on firm historical foundation, I proposed in my book, The Sixth Seal II, that the Last Days of America, as with all nations, are given a BIBLICAL TIMETABLE.

“Then the Lord said, ‘My Spirit shall not strive and remain with man forever, because he is indeed flesh [sinful, corrupt—given over to sensual appetites]; nevertheless his days shall yet be A HUNDRED AND TWENTY YEARS.’” – GENESIS 6:3, AMP

I wrote: “[B]eginning around the year 1900 AD, at the beginning of what automobile magnate Henry Ford [Nazi sympathizer and virulent Anti-Semite]would come to call, ‘THE AMERICAN CENTURY,’ things started to go wrong. At first, very gradually, but as the years progressed, more rapidly, but out of the line of sight of most Americans.

Just over [15] years ago, University of Wisconsin-Madison professor Dr. Alfred W. McCoy [Ph.D. in History, Yale] predicted the end of the American Century, written long before the Advent of Trump Nationalism was even a whisper on the political landscape, McCoy offered this chilling prognostication:

‘A soft landing for America 40 years from now? Don’t bet on it. The Demise of the United States as the global superpower could come far more quickly than anyone imagines. If Washington is dreaming of 2040 or 2050 as the End of the American Century, a more realistic assessment of domestic and global trends suggests that 2025, just 15 years from now [his essay was published in 2010], it could be all over except for the shouting’ (Dr. Cliff Kelly, 2024, pp. 1-2; edited).

TIME IS UP. Based on careful Scriptural examination and the historical record, my THESIS STATES: ‘The Years 1900-2020 constitute America’s Last Days of Grace, as the Genesis Template suggests. After which unprecedented, increasing and ultimately Final Divine Judgment will fall upon the land, beginning with THE CHURCH for its sustained Denial of Jesus Christ in favor of the Biblical Antichrist, Donald Trump.’

THE FAUSTIAN BARGAIN. By every possible sociological and theological calculation, this Timetable is being fulfilled by the very hour to the minimally attentive observer. Therefore, no; I do not pray for nor labor toward a “Restored America” as I am strongly persuaded that she is now fully Reprobate, along with her institutions, led by the White Evangelical Church leaders beginning in the fateful YEAR 2016.

“Republican presidential nominee DONALD TRUMP met with nearly 1,000 Evangelical Christians Tuesday morning in attempt to win over the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc at a pivotal moment in his campaign.

Taking the stage to a standing ovation, the presumptive Republican nominee participated in a carefully orchestrated question-and-answer session in a hotel ballroom. The Event was billed as a conversation where pre-selected conservative Christian leaders would ask Trump questions culled from a survey of all participants, on such topics as religious liberty, the military, abortion and attacks against religious minorities in the Middle East …

Before Trump took the main stage for the discussion, he met privately with the group’s STEERING COMMITTEE [Gary Bauer, James Dobson, and Bob Vander Plaats, Michele Bachmann, A.R. Bernard, Mark Burns, and Tim Clinton, Jerry Falwell Jr., Ronnie Floyd, Jentezen Franklin, Jack Graham, Harry Jackson, Robert Jeffress, David Jeremiah, and Richard Land, Robert Morris, Ralph Reed, James Robison, and Paula White],saying: ‘I am so on your side, I am a tremendous believer … Christianity, I owe so much to it … The Evangelical vote was mostly gotten by me.”

Trump continued: ‘You can pray for your leaders, and I agree with that, pray for everyone, but what you have to really do is you have to pray to get everybody out to vote for one specific person, and we can’t be again politically correct and say we pray for all of our leaders, because all of your leaders are selling Christianity down the tubes, selling the Evangelicals down the tubes, and it is a very, very, it is a very, very bad thing that is happening.’”

IMPACT. Thus. The White Church lit today’s Strange Fire by signing away all Christian Duty to Christ with a blasphemous ‘Deal with the American Antichrist’ on that dark and abominable Day. Yet it was preceded by at least 120 Years of Departure from both the God of Heaven and the Constitution of Man.

As CHRISTOPHER MARLOWE forewarned in his classic, Dr. Faustus(1592):

“All beasts are happy, for, when they die, their souls are soon dissolv’d in elements; But mine must live still to be plagu’d in Hell. ‘Curs’d be the parents that engender’d me! No, Faustus, curse thyself, curse Lucifer that hath depriv’d thee of the Joys of Heaven!’” (edited).

So has the entirety of the Trump MAGA White Nationalism Movement (with QAnon), consisting of some 70,000,000-81,000,000 Americans FORSAKEN CHRIST (cf. PRRI, Feb. 2022; AI Overview, Aug. 24, 2026).

So has the vast majority of the White Evangelical Church Renounced Christ, beloved.

And as several ground reports and recordings from Trump’s Concentration Camps [225 as of February 2026] shout to us in the unending screams of the brutalized inmates – including the old, the infirm, and little children and newborns! – ‘So shall these Maga’s be found guilty at The Judgment.’

SCRIPTURE. “Then He left the crowds and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him saying, ‘Explain [clearly] to us the parable of the weeds in the field.’

He answered, ‘The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and [as for] the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. 

So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned in the fire, so will it be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that OFFEND [‘skandalon’ (σκάνδαλα), ‘ a snare; or those things by which people are caused to stumble become led into sin], and all who practice evil [leading others into sin], and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping [over sorrow and pain] and grinding of teeth [over distress and anger.’” – MATTHEW 13:36-42, AMP

Selah, Selah, Selah.

III. THE INVITATION

“But when [the prodigal son finally] came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have more than enough food, while I am dying here of hunger! I will get up and go to my father, and I will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; [just] treat me like one of your hired men.’” 

So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was moved with compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.” – LUKE 15:17-20, AMP

MAGA PRODIGALS. To be clear: I do know whether or not Maga Christians are ‘Apostate’ or less severely grievously ‘Backslidden’ (though I fear the former more than the latter). In the First case there is no room for Return; in the second, there is.

Thus, this FINAL SECTION is presented as presuming there are Maga Christians who have not strayed so far from the Lord and Truth that they are no longer redeemable.

This is for those, and only those. The rest, as I have argued and documented for the past two years, are irretrievably lost. Selah.

“For [it is impossible to restore to repentance] those who have once been enlightened [spiritually] and who have tasted and consciously experienced the heavenly gift and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted and consciously experienced the good word of God and the powers of the age (world) to come, and then have FALLEN AWAY [‘parapiptó (παραπεσόντας’), ‘to fall aside, to apostatize; veering off course so completely that it is said, “restoration is impossible’”]—it is  since they again nail the Son of God on the cross [for as far as they are concerned, they are treating the death of Christ as if they were not saved by it], and are holding Him up again to public disgrace. 

For soil that drinks the rain which often falls on it and produces crops useful to those for whose benefit it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God; but if it persistently produces thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned.” – HEBREWS 6:4-8, AMP

DEFINITION. Taken from the Greek term, ‘Asótós’ [ἀσώτως], it means: “Properly, a state of unsavedness or profligacy.”NOTE: “ἀσώτως depicts a mode of life that is wasteful, reckless, and lacking moral restraint. It pictures a person who expends resources—material, physical, or spiritual—without thought for consequence or accountability.”

We take our formal analysis of this entire theme of the Call to Maga Prodigals to Return to Christ and Truth from an intriguing article by British Christian writer and artist DUNCAN PILE. With degrees from the University of Nottingham, his essay is titled, appropriately:

“Escaping MAGA and Rediscovering Jesus in 2026.” It was published by Patheos on January 7, 2026, and raises CRUCIAL IDEAS about the Trump Maga Nationalism Movement. And most urgently: How to ‘LEAVE BABYLON! – if you don’t mind the Metaphor.

• OPEN. “When I try out a new idea, I put it on like a set of new clothes and see how it feels. If it diminishes my compassion, or in any way distances me from Jesus (in terms of my emotions), I take it off again and don’t waste any more time on it. For example, in my early twenties, I was drawn to the Faith Movement, which taught that you can bend reality to your will if you develop sufficient Faith.”

• RETURN. “Though initially exciting, thinking that way put me in charge of the world around me, which was a tremendous burden that, over time, altered my relationship with God. The easy, organic connection I used to enjoy became rigid, punctuated by Declarations of Faith and claims on God’s Promises. It took me a while to understand what was going on, but eventually I saw the Light and gave up on Faith-Teaching and all its tenets. ‘My approach to “Faith’ softened, and I fell in love with God all over again. In all honesty, I was staggered to discover how far I’d strayed, but I’ll never forget the Joy, the Relief, the Blessed Reunion of the Homecoming.”

• POLITICS. “Sometimes, embracing new Political Ideas, Ideologies, and Directions can result in ‘Subtle Theological Reframing’ that warps the character of Jesus to make him more acceptable. For example: ‘Supporting Christian Nationalism unavoidably CHANGES a person’s perspective on the Character and Teachings of Jesus.’ When Peter cut off Malchus’ ear in Gethsemane, Jesus rebuked him for using force. Matthew 26:52-53, “‘Put your sword back in its place,’ Jesus said to him, ‘for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on My Father, and He will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?’” Jesus had the Resources of Heaven at His disposal but refused to use them. His Reasoning became clear when he stood, accused, before Pilate. John 18:36, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now My kingdom is from another place.”

• IDOLATRY. “The most prominent manifestation of Christian Nationalism in the world is the current US ADMINISTRATION, which weds what is perceived as Christian Belief (though is often just Right-Wing or Conservative Ideology) to forceful Anti-Immigrant Policy and the waging of International Wars, among other things. The President and other influential figures invoke the Name of Jesus while promoting Racism and [oppressing] Non-White people groups such as Somalis and Mexicans. ‘Believers who buy into the Religious Nationalist Ethos have to RESHAPE [i.e., Deconstruct] their understanding of Jesus and His Teaching in order to make him fit the Political Agenda.’”

• EXAMINATION. “I want to ask readers who support the US Administration’s Christian Nationalist Agenda some QUESTIONS: ‘We’ve just celebrated Christmas. How did you feel about the all-powerful God who entered the world as a vulnerable Child and soon became an Immigrant, hated and hunted by the politically powerful? Does the Christmas Story touch you the same way it used to? What has embracing MAGA Christianity done to your conscience? Has it become callous, less empathetic? Are you able to look away from families torn apart by ICE and harden your heart to their plight? What Spiritual Compromises have you made to hold to your Political Ideology? How do you feel about the Servant Heart of Jesus and His Call for us to consider the needs of others above our own, including the needs of Immigrants?’”

• COSTLY GRACE. “‘The Reason for writing this article is to nudge well-meaning believers who have been seduced by MAGA Christianity into a little SELF-EXAMINATION.’ You might discover, much as I did all those years ago when stepping away from the Faith Movement, that you’ve strayed further from Jesus than you realise, and I want to compassionately invite you to give this some real thought and prayer. ‘I understand that, for many, THE COST of disassociating yourself from MAGA Christianity might seem painfully high, but if that’s the price of Saving your Faith, of Returning as a Prodigal, then so be it. God will celebrate Your Return, embrace you, and look after you. You might even rediscover Peace.’”

CODA. “Costly Grace is the Gospel which must be sought again and again and again, the Gift which must be asked for, the door at which a man must knock. Such Grace is Costly because it calls us TO FOLLOW, and it is Grace because it calls us to follow Jesus Christ. It is Costly because it costs a man his life, and it is Grace because it gives a man the only True Life. It is Costly because it condemns sin, and Grace because it justifies the sinner. Above all, it is Costly because it cost God the Life of His Son: ‘Ye were bought at a price,’ and what has cost God much cannot be Cheap for us. Above all, it is Grace because God did not reckon His Son too dear a Price to pay for our life, but delivered Him up for us. ‘Costly Grace is the Incarnation of God.’” – DEITRICH BONHOEFFER, The Cost of Discipleship, 1937; edited

THE CALL: To deep SELF-EXAMINATION of your life and walk. Then to loudly, passionately Repent in deep, remorseful Rededication, and to then be Received Back by the Father of Lights, thereby to Reenter His Glorious Kingdom.

Then comes the Joy and the Power and the Freedom of truly, fully becoming His Light to all this Present Darkness, a true Son or a true Daughter of the King of Kings, forever!

“And they overcame and conquered him [the Antichrist] because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death.” – REVELATION 12:11, AMP
